The Biker Chicks of Lit

I was fine, but a lot of people here lost a life time of memories. Cover that damn bike will ya  Hope it clears up for you Joe.

Spaz
I thought I was going to get it done today, but I drove into another thunderstorm on the way home today. I had planned on getting out and getting a few pics of some the rivers, but Mother Nature kinda put a stop to that plan. And we are getting some more right now. These aren't related to the system we had over the weekend, but we are still getting rain.
Just checked out the bike night pics on your thread, loved it. The diversity of the bikes showed that was a true bike night. Customs in every class of bike, and I really liked those vintage racers. Old Honda's?

yea it was a cool night a good 50/50 mix of sport bikes and harleys. Then throw in the odd trike, Beemer or MotoGuzzi. The old race bikes belong to a friend of mine he races them in a vintage class. One is a Honda 450 and the other is a Honda 160. Cool little machines that buzz right along. They have that night every Tuesday. Bands, stunts, burnout pits, etc a regular carnival

Nope.... you just be joe and you'll be wonderful! I hope to get out tomorrow... Rain and wind on the forecast for the whole day.... Be safe and ride well!
Did you see the new jacket? he he he

We finally had a dry today, the first in a week. I got out on the bike and went to the Great Falls National Park on the Potomac River and took a few pictures of the flooding, and these are after the river has crested.

One of the best War parks in the US. Spent many a summer day walking the fields wondering what was wrong with Robert and why he wouldn't listen to James on that faitful day. Even made the 100 yr ceremony; maybe I'll still be around to see the 150 yr ceremony.

Hi JJ, hoping you are enjoying your summer travels; enjoying your pictures of same.

Did you get a chance to visit Eisenhower's farm?

No, I haven't been there yet, but we will soon. We are going to Gettysburg this weekend to set up my fathers RV. I have to do all the work so we can use it next weekend for the Gettysburg Bike rally.
Glad you're enjoying the pics, that's what this thread is all about.

Great pics Joe

Well as you may have guessed I'm back from my ride. Ofcourse I don't have a bike so I can only go for as long as my arms will hold out.

I couldn't rev my engine so I banged on my spokes instead lol.

I made asmuch of a go at it as I could and I think I went about three miles or so.....I hope it was enough to fully pay tribute.

It was funny, I heard a motorcycle rev when I was out and it really made me smile just to hear that sound at that time.

If the circumstance is right, MrsJ might share too. :p :nana:

You know we all love it when MrsJ shares!!! :p I hope your ride was wonderful!

DJ, I too am back from my ride....in honor of mojodog...I rode up a canon I didn't think I could do! Some friends and I rode twisty and turny roads up and back...then we did Garden of the Gods...a fitting tribute to a fallen friend...I talked to Brad the whole ride thru the garden...pointed out the kissing camels and balance rock...I felt him smile...it was a good day...to say goodbye....
