The Biker Chicks of Lit

Hehehe

Hey I will have things in the works after this week...I am going to special order it...But I do not want them to deliver it...I think it would be awesome for you to show up on it, then hand over the keys (after him thinking it is one of your bikes ;) )...Your thoughts?
MrsJ thinks it would be a fun way to spend her birthday as well. I think I will have to relaxe some of the gear rules in order to pull it off, but I can live with that for a special event. And I will have to spend a little time getting used to that toe/heel shifting, but I think I can deal with that pretty quick.
Pull up, make intros, let you put the ribbons on it and a short while later, present it to him. I can do it anyway you want.

How hard are you getting it. Our local weather watcher station has over 13 inches since Sat.. I know it started moving north, but I don't really know how hard it hit your area.
I hope you didn't get hit to hard.
Right now not too hard. We had our flood a month ago.. rivers up 10 - 12 FEET over flood levels. We have had FEMA, and the government in assessing damages. Friday we did get about 4 inches in about 2 hours tho

California has every biblical plague and then some. Cali has more mother nature issues then I care to think about. We haven't had this kind of rain and flooding in 150 years. I think I deal with those odds. The odds of an earthquake, mudslide, monsoon, fires and traffic gridloc? What else is missing, oh yea, the locust plague? ;)
I know Cali is beautiful, and I would love to spend a week or two travelling there. I just don't see me living there. Maybe up in the wine country.
You just have to pick the right spot. Where I live has never flooded, (even though they still make people get flood insurance) is nowhere near any mudslide areas, is away from the fire zone, the rains can be pretty strong so I'll give you that. The famous gridlocks are really around SoCal. (Movie stars can't drive for %^#)

We don't have locusts, but with all the wildlife here I suppose it could count for the "Wild Beasts" plague. ;)

I was following that but never got a real idea of how bad it actually was. I hope you didn't have to use a canoe to navigate your house.
We lucked out, we didn't have any basement water or any thing else at the house.
My poor bike is wondering what happened. I got soaked Sat. afternoon and didn't want to cover the bike wet, and it hasn't dried and been covered since then.
