What you fail to see is that I am flexible....I conform (if it suits me to do so)

I AM A BUTTERFLY an Elusive one at that...no one and nothing restrains me..ever!

(only soft netting is allowed)

I am a free spirit, Steve knows that all too and accepts me as I am :D

As does those on Lit that I have dated
(being few but they read if not respond) :)

I am and always be " The Elusive Butterfly"...some think they know me....they do not....hehehe ;) :D

OMG I hope your Mom is alright......Sadly I'm so used to hurting myself I've forgotten that some people can really get hurt.

Well I read on Copper's thread that she waved at you once she got out of the ambulence so it would seem she has a good sense of humor about the whole thing.

I hope she is alright and gets better soon.

on a happier note Loved the newest pics.....but WTF did you do to MrsJ? The things you do to that poor woman.

I really loved the sand pic. Working in clay and knowing what you can do it must be really hard to work in sand since its so much softer and looser.
I know the feeling. I stay pretty beat up from the job, I always have something acting up and I just got used to having a little pain somewhere. She was actually still in the ambulance at a red light when she waved. They transported her by ambulance, but because her vitals where stable, the didn't run with the sirens, etc. and actually stopped for lights. I pulled up behind the ambulance, she saw me and waved. :D

We hit speeds and lean angles MrsJ has never hit before. She said this was the first time she actually got an adrenaline rush from riding with me, so I thought that was a pretty funny shot and caption. I already had the caption in mind when I took the photo, based on MrsJ's reaction when we got the the show.
I have more pics to post, even some of MrsJ after she recovered. :D

For MY long haul? ;) :nana:
I just sent you a link for a few bikes found at a local dealership around here with some nice bikes for sale. I also found a great V-Star, but I didn't think you would be into a red and white one.

*grinning and.....................*

I am guilty of many things...lol...but all depends on my mood ;) and how far I want to push the envelope...LOL :p  I am a contradiction...Steve says I am a free and open book. nice and sweet, but then he sees, as ya'll have over the years, I can be a flirt, devish and a REAL bitch too....lol

Such is a WOMAN! :p :catroar: :D

Girlfriend...You are indeed a contradiction! And a beautiful one at that! Talking about bikes....I love my V-Star....if Steve wants something bigger the V-Star has a 1300 cc... it's a mid-sized tourer...the Road Star is next up but I hear they are not great in the comfort division....the Roadliners and Stratoliners are incredible looking bikes...I don't know anything about them performance wise...and the Royal Stars...are V-4 powered....I can't even imagine! So that's my 2 cents...

Last weekend went the Gettysburg Bike Week and had a blast. We stayed at my fathers RV campsite about 10 minutes out of Gettysburg. Saturday morning we meet up with some friends, went some other friends house, had a cookout, got to ride in the dirt, and then had killer ride through the mountains on the way to the event. We went faster and leaned over more than I have ever done with MrsJ on the back and she loved every second of it. I'll be posting a series of photo's as time allows.

The BEST!!!!!

I laughed...cause I've felt that way after a long ride thru the mountains!!!!! Thank you so much...waiting for more...(sort of patiently)

for your long haul, no. but you have to decide what your going to use it primarily for. tour, cruise or just look good on a saturday night. then decide on a budget. fit the budget to the use and make a decision on american or metric. then you have some manageable choices.

Well atleast you have an excuse for your getting beat up. I don't have a dangerous job to go to. I just tell people "I'm a clutz, a jinx, and I AM Murphy's Law".

Well its good that she was alright. I know it can be scary to have a loved one suffer something like that. Nice to see your Mom is a tough kid.(Must be where you get it from)

Well good that MrsJ got a thrill out of it.......aslong as you don't dump her off the back LOL.

Can't wait to see the next set.

Dude, you are just to hard on yourself. But I love the fact that you have a sense of humor about it.
Moms a tough old bird, growing up on a small farm where if you didn't raise it, grow it, and can it, you didn't eat it, will do that to you.

I'v ridden with this group a couple of times before, on that route, so I gave her a heads up and we had some hand signs so she knew when we were going to get into high speeds, lots of leans, etc.. At one point we got detoured because of an accident, had to get onto the interstate, and we actually went into a tuck behind the windshield to keep up with the group. Her first time riding in the triple digit's.
