poe's it is. that's actually a small turnout in the pic. it might have been mother's day. i've seen it with 2 full rows next to the street, one against the front of the building. the lil area behind where i was standing, on the side walk down to the exxon and across the street.

Is that in the Richmond area, that looks like it could be worth the 2hour ride.

A few more Gettysburg Pics. My camera battery died before I got alot of bike shots, so I'll share what I have.

The "A" and "B" models was the "V-Rod" and the "R" is called the Street Rod with the "D" being called the Night Rod.

All part of the VRSC (V-Twin Racing Street Custom) family with the Revolution engine.

And then there is the Screaming Eagle, VRSCSE...
That's it. I read a few reviews and saw a bunch of pics, and fell in love with the look. And I'm a sportbiker, sort of. I have a Suzuki VStrom DL1000, a dual sport/sport tourer. If I had excess cash and wanted a cruiser for just me, that would be it.

yes it's on the eastern edge of downtown, at the foot of Church Hill.

Reminds me of one show I saw on TV. There is supposed to be an Arby's that has a biker night and the gets TONS of people. Even the mayor is supposed to be a biker. They said they do atleast four times the business of what they normally do.

Nice bike - but that's the real problem, we need more than one type! I've always gone for the cruiser style with the sport bike engine. Before the V-Rod I rode a Yamaha 700 Maxim.

The "R" model might be something to look into - mid controls, a little less rake and more lean angle...

You have an open invitation to post as many pics of Harley as you want. I have seen and followed so many of your threads and when I see the word "Harley", I have to think, "Harley" the bike, or "Harley" the hottie. :D

That was on of the Ridgley's, an automatic transmission bike. I did a test ride on one a couple of weeks ago and it was actually pretty sweet. I went into thinking it was going to be a total wimp bike, but it turned out to nice. Not for me, but could be a cool ride for her.

She wasn't alone for long. It didn't take to long for people to figure out what was going on and people started moving our way real quick. I wanted to take a few more, but MrsJ said enough. Too crowded. It just sucked that the camera died on Sunday, fewer people and she was up for some pics and actually had a few outfits with her to change into. Who know what would have happened. :p :p

I don't know anything about Richmond, but its not that far away and that looks like a good time. Could be a great ride to and from.

Well personally I think those "small places" are fun. It gives less of a business atmosphere and more of a community atmosphere. I know one place out here we only go to about once a year TOPS. The woman that runs the place always remebers us somehow and she has actually opened up for us a few times when they were closed so we could come in.

Congratulations love *Throws rice all around you* Can't wait to see your new pics.

Yep, I need that full dress touring bike, a sport tourer, a dual sport, a full on sport bike, and a couple of different cruisers. Now where did I put that lottery ticket I just bought?
That's why we bought what we did. Nice compromise between price, comfort, especially for MrsJ, and all around ride. We want to add a hard topcase with a backpad for her to lean back on and some soft side bags so we can really ride on some long distance trips. We don't have a topcase yet, but it still no big deal for us to 5-6 hr rides. We have taken longer rides, but the breaks become alot more frequent after that. But we both love the bike and have a blast on it.

Congrates EB, and good luck. Keep me posted about Steve's bike. And you never gave me a price range, so PM me with that so I can narrow the search a little. :rose:

Having a good time is the most important part. I'm going to change that, haviing a SAFE good time is the most important part of riding.
How was your weekend. I hope you got some quality ride time in.
I kinda bumped my head at work Friday and cut and bruised my bald pumkin head. I couldn't put my helmet on and I had some balence issues on Sat., so I stayed off the bike all weekend. I must have hit it a little harder then I thought. It's all good now, except for the cut and scab right in the middle of my forhead.
Have you recovered from your little parking lot incident?
