Well atleast you have an excuse for your getting beat up. I don't have a dangerous job to go to. I just tell people "I'm a clutz, a jinx, and I AM Murphy's Law".

Well its good that she was alright. I know it can be scary to have a loved one suffer something like that. Nice to see your Mom is a tough kid.(Must be where you get it from)

Well good that MrsJ got a thrill out of it.......aslong as you don't dump her off the back LOL.

Can't wait to see the next set.

DJ! You better behave, young man, or I'll send you to my room! :rose:

local place has a bikers brunch once a month on sundays. when you go you have no idea what might show up.

Poe's Pub? Looks like they have a large turnout. I didn't realize the parking lot would hold that many...LOL...but then again, I normally see it full of cars... :)

Girlfriend...You are indeed a contradiction! And a beautiful one at that! Talking about bikes....I love my V-Star....if Steve wants something bigger the V-Star has a 1300 cc... it's a mid-sized tourer...the Road Star is next up but I hear they are not great in the comfort division....the Roadliners and Stratoliners are incredible looking bikes...I don't know anything about them performance wise...and the Royal Stars...are V-4 powered....I can't even imagine! So that's my 2 cents...

I was looking at a Royal Star Venture...I like the look, but not the price tag of over 17k

for your long haul, no. but you have to decide what your going to use it primarily for. tour, cruise or just look good on a saturday night. then decide on a budget. fit the budget to the use and make a decision on american or metric. then you have some manageable choices.

I am taking that to heart...The bike will be more of a touring bike...Steve and I rarely get out on weekends alone...We have Fridays to ourselves til Ella has to leave. He will also use it to go and see friends...they live 1 1/2 + hours away in the country...It is a biker friendly, scenic ride. I have looked at some of the cruisers that double as touring bikes...

Dude, you are just to hard on yourself. But I love the fact that you have a sense of humor about it.
Moms a tough old bird, growing up on a small farm where if you didn't raise it, grow it, and can it, you didn't eat it, will do that to you.

I'v ridden with this group a couple of times before, on that route, so I gave her a heads up and we had some hand signs so she knew when we were going to get into high speeds, lots of leans, etc.. At one point we got detoured because of an accident, had to get onto the interstate, and we actually went into a tuck behind the windshield to keep up with the group. Her first time riding in the triple digit's.
I say these things in good humors. If you don't take life with a few laughs it will drive you NUTS.......and I've been told I'm nuts enough. :nana:

Sounds like my teacher. He grew up on a Missouri pig farm so nothing much gets to him anymore. He says after shoveling all that crap, delivering pigs, and castrating pigs nothing gets to him anymore.(but sometimes I think I do :D )

Well its good to have people to ride with. Its no fun to ride alone all the time.

LOL Well atleast she knows she can hang on at that speed.

Loved the new Gettysburg pics. My compliments to MrsJ. ;)

LOL I happen to appreciate your quirky sense of humor *smiling*

I always say life is too short to take everything too seriously...
although some things (even in humor) should be considered ;) :cathappy:

Hey Joe...just checking in and finding some wonderful pics!!! Very nice! How's Mom doing? :rose:
I'm glad you like. I have some more to post later.
Mom finds out tomorrow if they are going to operate on the arm or not. They don't think they will at this time due to all her other health issues. :(

poe's it is. that's actually a small turnout in the pic. it might have been mother's day. i've seen it with 2 full rows next to the street, one against the front of the building. the lil area behind where i was standing, on the side walk down to the exxon and across the street.

The "A" and "B" models was the "V-Rod" and the "R" is called the Street Rod with the "D" being called the Night Rod.

All part of the VRSC (V-Twin Racing Street Custom) family with the Revolution engine.

And then there is the Screaming Eagle, VRSCSE...
