Here's a cool photo we did right after I got my bike. This was before we put the 412's on and shortened it for me. Thanks much for the welcome! ;)

I love this thread! I'm a biker chick myself but am a bit shy about posting pics just yet. However, I ride a 2001 Suzuki Savage 650, and worked at the Full Throttle Saloon during Sturgis this year!
It is a very special place... Welcome aboard! Don't worry about the shyness... it looks good on you. Just have fun! :rose:

(It's got 115,000mi. now!) This was my first season on my own bike. So far I have managed to add 10,000mi. to her and the season isn't over yet! We'll be in Daytona next for Biketoberfest. We ride to all the rallies we attend. Here's a photo of me on my bike and one on Main St. in Sturgis two years ago. (Hope they aren't too big or too small, I've never posted photos on this forum before!)
Welcome to Lit and we all hope you enjoy your time here. Just one word of caution, it can become really addictive. I'm glad you shared your first post on Lit with us. Very sweet. Ladies like you are the main reason I go to the rallies. ;)
Congrats on getting your license and the bike. I have only had my ride for just over a year myself and have over 10g on the bike as well.

well, let's see... survived an audit from HELL at work... it reduced me to tears... Tears i tell ya... rich boys just don't get life... anyway... that's over.

Life at home is phenominal! Kept me going through all the stress to be honest. I'm well and truly blessed to have good family and friends... love by one's side is amazing.

Why have you been absent? 'Sup???

Agreed.
Nice to have you back. Work is fairly insane for me right now, so I am a little sporadic in my visits to lit, but I still get by once or twice a week.
Make sure you go back and check out the pics of the ride we took with ElusiveButterfly and her new husband on a leg of their honeymoon ride.
Sorry, I haven't figured out the link thing 100%.

Work is putting me through hell right now as well. I not reduced to tears, but physically, I am just done when I get home. Gotta love the construction industry.
Having family to come home to is great. MrsJ and I both try to do something special when one of has had a rough day, or is going through a rough time. It just seems to a little lopsided right now.
I hope you made it through the audit okay and didn't have any real job issues.

I've been working out more so i've got a good soreness going on right now... but construction would be a bit too much for me i'm afraid. I'm too outta shape. Maybe Next summer! *grin*

Glad MrsJ can help you through it. Her time will come... and you'll be right there for her!

Rich boys.... they just don't get it... no real issues i guess, but they've changed the rules on me again. At least i still have a job and i won't complain about that!

Good to see you, Joe!

LOL I know what you mean, I went through those myself when my computer was down for a month......and Joe is right, Lit IS addictive. I went through the same withdrawls when my computer was down for one DAY awhile back.

Not much going on with me.(no news is good news) I start classes again on Tuesday. I'm taking sculpture(ofcourse) and welding. LOL One Lit friend said "Have fun and try not to set yourself on fire TOO much".......she knows me so well.

Well I hope all is well with you.(If not let me know) Glad to hear you're getting in shape.......I'm not  I'm getting into a different kind of shape.

Hope you'll be making up fror lost time.......must say I LOVE the new AV. very nice

Happy Saturday afternoon everybody! Annie it's soo good to see you back! I'm glad all the work crap is behind you now! Well until next time, right?

Joe, sweetie...always good to see you on here. I know it's hard to catch up!!! :D
Kiss to MrsJ for me!

DJ! You are always a joy to run into! I know you are excited to get back to school!

blackopal and wildchild!!!! WELCOME :rose: :rose: This is a great place to hang out...exchange bike stuff and well just make new friends.

My news!! Today I rode to Cripple Creek for the 14th Annual Salute to Americans Veterans Rally and Festival! Whew what a long name...It was awesome. I chose not to ride in the parade...(I don't much like taking 2 hours to get 10 miles - stop and go, in 1st gear) BUT some friends and I went on into town...parked a long way away!!!!! and were standing roadside when approximately 5,000 motorcycles rode in... It was awesome and LOUD! In spite of the fact we rode through rain both coming and going it was a good day. :nana:

LMAO!!

Thanks kid

It was good to see them again

Turns out that some were just as lazy this Summer as me lol. They didn't make anything either. :D

Got to finally see my friend's new baby. For only being a month old the kid is amazingly developed. She said he already sleeps through the night, never cries, and when he was there he was alert and looking around at everything......plus he was born with a TON of hair!! Cutest lil bugger you ever saw.

We found out where we will be going on our fieldtrips this time.

We will be going to our teacher's studio(We did that last time, but still cool)

...and we will be going to he newly re-opened De Young Museum in San Francisco!! It is supposed to be one of the coolest places simply PACKED with all sorts of art. I'm really excited about that one.(Now I just gotta find a way to get the 60 miles there from here)

So how are things with you lil Copper? ;) :rose:
