they also had some uber modern street bikes, like this benelli tre 1130. three cyclinders and sounded great

Not sure. If they would tell me more I might understand better ya know. However, been waiting for many years for this baby one more week aint gonna hurt me I don't guess. I bought my helmet today. Maybe that will bring me good luck. Seriously, Patriot HD had a huge selection at 1/2 off. Down to only a couple styles now but still have a few remaining. Think I will go get a 2nd for riders next week.

I am only going to DelMarva for the weekend. Cannot afford to take the whole time off work. I am saving up for Daytona's big week in March.....LOL

We are thinking of getting a "trash bike" for me to learn on then getting a Sportster as my first bike....Just til I get the hang of things...I want a large bike and will get one after I master the smaller bikes :rolleyes:

For now I will remain a "bitch" on the back of our Road King :cathappy:

Assatgue is few miles south of OC and is a nice get away. The VA side is about an hour away and has a little more to explore. They have an old lighthouse tour, on certain weekends, and a nice nature drive.

The event grounds are fairly tame, mostly venders, but they do have some fun events. The real fun is in OC at the bars. Our favorite is Seacrets, but we have had good times in every bar we have visited. take advatage of the OC bus system and don't F**** with the police. They have a zero tolerance policy for just about everything there. Don't get me wrong, they don't hassle you, but they are very strict in their enforcemen. And don't speed outside of OC, especially on RT 50, the state boys are everywhere, and that is year round, not just for bike week.
Maybe we can talk ElusiveButterfly and her husband to roll up and we could have a Littogther. If not we would not be opossed to meeting up with you while we are there. :cool:

I'm going to a museum out here next Tuesday. I'll try and get some good pics and hope I can figure out how to load them to disc so I can post them.

My boss finally picked up his HD Streetbob Monday night. I haven't had a chance to check it out up close, but I did see him rolling past the office after our meeting this morning. All I can say is "It's Loud".
Rolling might be a slight understatement, blasting might be more like it.
What really sucks is now he has bike faster then mine and I am going to have to work the gears as hard as he did when he rode with me. But he can't lean like I can. ;)
I guess a week delay isn't that bad if you have been waiting that long.
Turns out we are only going for the a couple of days ourselves. We will be staying in Chincoteque, about an hour south of OC, but we have lots of room.
