How have I missed this awesome thread. Man.



Well I have had about 6 bikes in my life. Nothing to brag on until now. Just bought an '07 FLSTC - Heritage Classic. Been holding out for almost 10 long years until I could get a hawg and they day will soon be here. She is being shipped and will arrive to me in the next week.

Anyone headed to DelMarva Bike Week in September? DelMarva will be my first big outing.

We planned our vacation around it. This will be our third year going. We go for a few days before and take the 4x4 down the beach on Assategue and have some fun on a totally deserted beach. And have fun with the camera.
Where are you in DC. We are in the G-burg area.

went to the road races at VIR this w/e. a record crowd everyday!

I watched those on tv and was kicking myself in the ass the whole weekend. VIR is only about 3.5 hours away and we didn't go. (smacking myself in the head)

Just to many post to respond to each one since my last visit, but it looks like every one is hanging in there and problems are getting resolved.
Annie has her computer back. Its good to see back where you belong.
Copper has her bathroom back.
Didji is ready to back to school
And Spaz is just being Spaz
Glad to see everyone is SAFE and still riding.
The crazy time at work is starting to slow down, so I might actually have some free time.

I learned that lesson several weeks back when I smacked my head at work and walked in circles for 2 days.
Sorry about the rain, we need rain here really bad. I actually got planted on a job for three days and got to ride in once this week.
We both send our love and hope the construction project is about over and home is actually home.

Assatgue is few miles south of OC and is a nice get away. The VA side is about an hour away and has a little more to explore. They have an old lighthouse tour, on certain weekends, and a nice nature drive.

The event grounds are fairly tame, mostly venders, but they do have some fun events. The real fun is in OC at the bars. Our favorite is Seacrets, but we have had good times in every bar we have visited. take advatage of the OC bus system and don't F**** with the police. They have a zero tolerance policy for just about everything there. Don't get me wrong, they don't hassle you, but they are very strict in their enforcemen. And don't speed outside of OC, especially on RT 50, the state boys are everywhere, and that is year round, not just for bike week.
Maybe we can talk ElusiveButterfly and her husband to roll up and we could have a Littogther. If not we would not be opossed to meeting up with you while we are there.
