My seaman's sweater, with its grim, and bellbottom trousers seem a bit shabby compared to Chris's tux's and Uggg's formal oriental dress. Time to fade back into the kitchen.

Today and tomorrow we’re working alongside the Reservists, this brave and honourable young men and women who, if the shit hits the fan, will be called in to support us. We are being trained on assimilating them into the regulars during a battlefield situation.

Sure we would. Yes tomboy are sexy. Why not? Just about every red blooded man on the planet, because girls with guns are sexy.

Be careful of them reservist. Some of them forget about the soldier part when in the company of beautiful women. And it would be a shame if one of you had to brake one to establish dominance. But if the need should arise please have someone capture it on video. That way you can use it as a trading video to prevent the breakage of other reservist in the future.

Good morning everyone,

I would like to start by apologizing to you all for departing so abruptly. And, if you will have me, would like to return.

An explanation first: Ten years ago, I was riding my bicycle and was hit by a car. Among the other injuries to my body was a severe concussion and brain damage, most, but not all, of which has healed. For the next couple years, I used various medications to deal with anxiety and depression induced by the TBI. And while I tend towards anxiety more than I used to, I thought the worst of it was well behind me.

Until last fall. Around Halloween, I started the fall into a deepening depression. Among other things, I could not bring myself to post even the simplest thing on Lit. I felt like I had nothing to offer any of you. I could feel myself spiraling down and did not want to drag any of you with me.

So I left. I sent a note to CG detailing some of the other reasons. CG, you may share it with anyone who asks.

I appreciate the kind words you all had for me. I just read them yesterday. At the time, I was feeling too humiliated to do so.

I hope to God that you are all well. I have missed you all terribly. I thought of you constantly, but could do little more than offer prayers.

Fortunately, very recently, the depression has lifted. I expect it is the returning light. I would like to write again, and share in your lives as best I can.

Some time ago, when some of you were deployed, I would post solo to Charlotte's Conversion to entertain. If our brave lasses would enjoy it, I would like to do so again. No obligations on any of you to post. I know well you have bigger fish to fry. But it would give me the chance to do something for you.

I hope I can catch up with all of you individually later, but for now, off to Charlotte's bed...

Thank you for the update. We do think of them often and look forward to their return.

Try to remember that HSG recommended you for OTS because you have what they are looking for. She did it realizing that they would be going on deployment without you. Also remember, they were once in your shoes, not being able to go with their unit for the same reason you're with them now.

Hope you're well uggg. Sorry I have not posted to our story. I meant to yesterday and then my computer crashed lol, I have reread and started planning though.

To LF depression is a real thing that affects many of us. I have been where you were and have taken absences from lit accordingly. No need to feel ashamed, it is sort of how this place works, people come and go, but everyone is always glad to see them when they return.

I feel pretty old myself at times CG. One doesn't need to have as any years to sometimes feel beaten down by time.
