The China Pearl Inn part 7

The Inn is quiet as I make my way down from my loft. It is unseasonably warm the Tempratures already nudging 60F and it is still mid winter in my White Mountains and yet tomorrow winter is secluded to return with the highs forecasted to be in the 20F. Well as we say here If you don’t like the weather here wait a minute. ;)

Morning to any who may be about and to those hiding in the shadows.

I think you know my answer to that, I want whatever you want:)

Was she over 18 this time? If your Irish ain't over 18 it a crime.

*slow smile spreading from ear to ear*

Give this man a cookie...

*dresses up like a cookie and gives herself*

lol and you also like them as innocent and un-jaded as a lamb eh old wolf? My mistress has her eating pants on, your drooling all over the floor and I'm sitting here wondering if either of you will be able to resist eating that little lamb all up!

Fly little red robin fly!

;)

I'm cheering for the underdog!

Hey-!! Whose side are you on!! lol

I'd be rooting for the underdog too, if I wasn't the overdog xDD

Brrr It was cold last night. Even with the heater going and a heavy blanket I was chilly. Yesterday's very light snow is gone and the sky is a bright blue, but the temperature is in the forties. Supposed to snow again later in the week and again next week. Guess I better break out another blanket to add to the one I have been using. Had way more snow last year, but I don't remember being this cold.

Ffffffff that's cold! It's only just over freezing here and we had snow today. Blech.. I miss summer so hard!

Time to get out your woolen long johns lol!

Well it truly is simple. Back in the sixties we officially converted to the Metric system and then ignored it and changed nothing. See simple

For reals? I heard someone say that before, and thought it was just a wives tail... lol

I had to learn the metric system when I moved to Ireland the first time. But they also mix up a lot of things as well. 24 hour clock, weight in stones, date backwards (but it makes more sense that way, anyway) and length in some instances inches, others centimeters. Blah lol at least the euro was easy to figure out. ;)

We are similar. We measure speed in MPH but weigh in metric. Carpet is sold by the metre but curtains by inches.

Now that is whack!! lol :D

Morning Shiva you must be breathless after that long post. Perhaps you need mouth to mouth resuscitation.

Morning all:),

No thanks Uggg I am watching my boyish figure.

Don't like when the inns this quiet.

Anyone on?

Haven't seen Robyn or Sal today? Wheres everyone at?

RT, Chris? Who else is normally round this time of day?

We’ve not been on much the past few days - it’s been very very busy. I did enjoy my naughty night at the weekend and Robyn sorted her mother’s grave (how proud we are of her).

We’ve had weapons training, urban warfare and surviving a major Ariel attack. Today we had to go to a local school and were assessed as we tried to ‘sell’ a military career to the students.

Hope all is well with everyone. We’ll be Back soon. Meanwhile we heard from the Lionesses, they are unhurt.

I am around. Gave up eight vials of blood today. Think that is the most I have ever had drawn except when I was younger and donated blood.

All good news. My favorite kind. :)

Ahhh! Now that's better, the happy sound of voices chit chattering away in the inn:D

I'm just passing through as well. How much is a vial, SF...only encountered it in pints here.

Would someone please turn on the light? It is getting dark in here. The lamp is a good eight feet away and I can't reach it from this chair. :D

I don't know how much. It is those pink and purple capped things that they use when you have blood testing done. Usually they take four or five, not sure why they needed so many today. I have to have the testing done every three months. sigh

Oh lovely, Not so much really. (First person to mention "that's almost an armful," gets a special commendation.)

I accidentally got some blood in my coffee stream once. Had to thoroughly sterilize the whole system with alcohol. Still working on that.;)

Sorry to just vanish like that. Was answering a PM. Have had a lot today. I like when that happens makes me feel popular:cool: lol
