The China Pearl Inn---Part Six.

Yes CG, sometimes catching up takes longer than we expect. I've been pleased with my writing of late, it feels smoother and flows better than I feel it did for a while there.

I shall look forward to that Rose. :rose::kiss:

I always found that coming back after a leave was as they say a mixed blessing. On one hand it meant missing friends and family on a daily bases. On the other I was always happy to get back to the unit and those who knew me , in many ways, better than family.

I am pleased to hear things are going better for you Glad. I find for my writing it is simple, have something to say and just say it. It works well for me weather I am writing nonfiction, fiction, fantasy, or erotica. That is not to say at times I have to search for that opening line that lets the rest of my thoughts flow Glad.

Yes I have always written from a flow. I might plan in my head but I just start writing and what I need to say comes out. I'm just glad that it seems to be coming out better now haha.

Glad, we stand with you shoulder to shoulder - knock 'em dead!

Back at base and thrilled for our old CO who has now moved on to bigger and better things the other side of the pond. We've just enjoyed lunch and a meeting with our new chief who's focused on teamwork. He addresses the whole team tonight.

It looks like we might shortly be back in the States for desert training before deployment.

I wish you and your team the best HSG. I am sure your new CO will have his own ideas on how to improve the team.

I wonder what to do as I appear to be and invisible shadow in an invisible world.

Oh CG you will never be invisible although like us you will come and go. You are the glue that holds us together, the great encourager. We love you.

HSG I often feel lost in the crowd, an ability to be one of two in the room and have all remember the other one. It served me well for years in several assignments but wears thin now.

Don’t mind me I am very reflective today had some disturbing news.

CG whatever the news is know you are not alone. You have my private E Mail address, use it if you need me. We've just got to go for our team meeting but should be back in a couple of hours. DO NOT FACE IT ALONE!

I don't see you as being lost in the crowd considering that most of us show up here because of you. I know that sometimes it can feel that way when we're upset though. hope things get better for you as well sir.

Standing he pores a cup of coffee for the sailor. "I do apologize for the delay in my responses, I seem to have fallen asleep in my chair before I could get up and go to the bedroom to take a nap.

I attended a concert last night and the band played 2 songs that were played at my wedding, my wedding song, and the one I danced with my mother to.

That must have brought back memories to you Glad. New love, a new life and a mother's love. Must have been a special night for you.

yes, very special, I posted to facebook mentioning that as many times as I've seen Shinedown play, it never gets old and as the first time I've seen them since my wedding the songs had a new level of significance. Yes indeed lots of wonderful memories.

CG, the Lionesses of NRR are standing with you.

Had a good introduction to our new CO and heard about our next deployment. We will be returning to the States early August to train in the desert. Meanwhile we need to get ourselves fit. Three mile run before breakfast tomorrow followed by weapons training. Seems like we've never been away.

It is so easy to fall back into the routine once back from leave and I think it is a good think G G for it gives us the continuity to do our duty.

Thanks for the moral support as well G G.

CG I just want to repeat what Lt GG wrote, the Lionesses are shoulder to shoulder with you. Hold firm dear friend and bathe in the love that's sent to you.

Going to be strange returning to Death Valley for exercises and not to be tested for badges. We all had personal interviews with the CO and we feel part of a family. You know what that's like CG.

So please don't ever forget the inn will support you.

I know Robyn and your support truly humbles me. You G G HSD, and Rose all have a soft spot in my heart.

Yes I know what it is like Robyn, that comradeship that is more than just mere friendship, and often hard to put into words.

It is weird how you can have time off and when you return it seems as if you never left. Even the memories of what you did during your time off fade quickly and seem more like a dream than reality.

Took the car into the shop to get a time estimate for the repairs to the back door, guess there was damage to the undercarriage as well. I am looking at ten days. I haven't decided on a rental car yet, it is such a hassle to try to get me into a car, they are either too high or too low.

Lots of lightning out there in the distance. But it is not raining here, yet.

CG, you know we all have your back through whatever the issues are. We are always here for you.

Good Morning CPI

It's 0700 hours here and we've just returned from what has been described as a 'gentle run' of only 3 miles. Tomorrow it's 5!

Yes SF some things fade while there are some I'll never forget  but yes it's like we never left. Good luck with the car, demand your rights.

CG I haven't shared what you told me, it's your business but know we love you.

LF hope to post soon but after weapons training I'm taking the new NCOs (including Robyn) for basic training.

Now! BREAKFAST!

Just called GG and she said you're down CG. Hold firm buddy, we're with you all the way. Time for bed here so I'll bid you all well from the West Coast.

I can't believe you guys are going back to the desert in August as if June wasn't hot enough. You are supposed to go to the desert in the spring when the cactus are in bloom and the temperatures are not that bad. Next you will be going to Alaska in January. ;)

Sending loads of prayers and spirit lifters your way CG...
