The Chinal Pearl Inn part 8

Curtsies quickly and smiles

Hello FD, have we met? I don't think so, and in that case it is very nice to do so!

I am also a fibro sufferer. (And a licensed massage therapist, though I haven't practiced in a while due to my own health.)

Nods his head with a smile.

"I have seen you before and said hi but I think you missed it. Sometimes this place flows so fast it is easy to miss a single message. It is nice to meet you. Sorry to hear you have fibro too. (Hope you can get back to practicing soon. Is it new to you?)

*Sigh*

I'm tired and bored:(

But I don't want to go to sleep yet.

*Reaches under the bar and pulls out a blue glass stein... Fills it to the brim with gin and sips thoughtfully*

Wonder where SF is hiding?

You lurking tonight bread saint?

Uggg:rose::rose:

"Alright. Time to head out. Work in the morning and I should have been in bed hours ago. Have a good night CPI!"

Hugs BT and waves to everyone then heads off to the door.

"It was very nice to meet you Shadowdolly."

Yeah, nothing to say so just watching.

I've been very hit and miss this week - hubby found my escapades here, and then we landed in the ER, and then he's been off a few nights, plus the whole housefull of us getting sick... so I imagine I missed quite a bit. Please accept my apologies! :rose: :cattail:

The fibro or the massage? Neither is - I've dealt with pain since I was 15, but it's only gotten bad since my 7 year old twins were born. At least, bad enough that it affects daily life beyond what OTC meds can keep up with.

The massage I started 17 years ago and has been very hit and miss. I mostly these days just do it for my mother who has MS and occasionally someone will have good timing and ask me for one when I'm feeling good enough to oblige. My own health is why I'm good at it. ;)

Thanks for the SRP post Dolly,

I'm too tired to reply tonight, wouldn't do it justice if I tried.

I'll try and find time tomorrow- I owe boots one too.

I am retired. There are no weekdays or weekends, there are just days passing way too quickly. :)

I often forget what day it is if I'm not careful. But I decided long ago that Fridays were MY days and even if nothing exciting was going on that Fridays were supposed to be FUN so by golly at the end of the day I'm gonna have my fun.

I'm not retired but I do stay home all day every day, mostly the same thing day in and day out, with only the messes of children to keep me occupied. ;)

The wine helps.

With kids, you need to pay some attention to Monday to get them out the door. I have to take my trash down to the can on Tuesdays, so I pretty much keep track of that day. :)

Honey, we homeschool. There's no getting them out the door. :D

(Well, not none. We have tons of activities. But they are over now or ending soon - girl's dance recital is next week and we are done for the spring.) I do have to keep track of which activities are when but it's an hour here and an hour there, and I lose track too often to admit.

With hubby's odd work schedule though we totally and completely have to keep careful track of what day it is because it's SO easy to lose track if we just rely on our memory. On top of working nights his days off are only "regular" in the sense that it's a repeated pattern. Took me MONTHS to find the pattern.

Oh yeah, I knew that about the kids, but I forgot. Call it a senior moment. ;)

haha No worries. I never remember who I've told what.

Hubby is an "x" on what they call an "xyz schedule." He gets every day of the week off once in a three week rotation. So if it starts with a 3 day weekend, then the next time off is Thursday, then Tuesday and Wednesday, then Monday... then it starts over with the 3 day weekend.

When they gave it to us it said something like 3-3-3-1-4-2... whatever the rest of the numbers are. Ugh. I could never memorize the string of numbers so I finally memorized the pattern of the days off. CRAZY but at least it's predictable in some manner....

Good grief, I would go nuts. Must make the scheduler either nuts or a genius.
