The Five Stages of MAGA Grief

She has 24 million followers. Did you miss that? You did, didn't you?

I'm leaving in a few days to explore the cultural beauty and the cuisine in Naples and Capri. I fully expect you to sharpen your wit and broaden your intellectual spectrum in my absence. Hopefully, you'll lose your remaining adolescence and develop the elements we expect in a person of quality. My hope is you'll develop ethical standards and critical thinking skills that will help you to be more effective in discussing the issues of today and make quality contributions to our community here on Lit. :D

Pics or it didn't happen. :D

I don't post personal photography here
you used to, vetteman, but that went out the window along with your valor and integrity when you tried to sneak in the backdoor (heh) as this new, even dumber persona.

It doesn't matter who wins, half the country isn't going to accept the loss peacefully.
I see you've fallen for the glass is half-full or half-empty point of view, but it does matter who wins. Between the two, there is a stark dichotomy. It's evident in their rhetoric on a daily basis.

The winner must be a true leader embued with the hallmark qualities of America. You know - that Clark Kent sort of point of view - truth, justice, and the American way [the way that looks positively toward the future.]

Trump, as our next leader, will fulfill your dark prognostication.

Biden has a chance of being the silver lining in the clouds - a stable system of an elderly Clark Kent, still capable of pulling out the Man of Steel suit if need be. He'll have support - those who believe in truth, justice, and the ideals and aspirations of past generations who believe there is a greater good in serving others over servicing oneself, e.g., Donald Trump.

I don't think that any of us who post on here deserve any particular measure of respect. We're all essentially partisan shit-posters. Some of us post actual research, or opinion pieces with facts and analysis, but I think we're all here basically just to scream into the void and vent some frustration.
I do! Perhaps an exception, as an elder, I remember sometime back when civility was an understood word, and people used it even when ill-tempered words were on the tip of their tongues.

Genocide, slavery, and imperialism?

Here in the real world, only one man in history ever earned the title of "Man of Steel."

But Joe Biden is no Joseph Stalin. And that's what Amerikkka really needs.

I don't post personal photography here, but in your case I'll see what I can do. I still have a few days left before I leave.

I'm just jealous. I want to go to Venice some day in late Jan/early Feb but probably never will.

Joseph Dzhugashvili was a creepy edgelord who insisted people call him “Steel” because he thought it made him sound like a badass.

And now we have that unknown factor of 10-15million illegal uncivilized aliens put into the mix of possibilities of social upheaval. Recall the majority of them are military aged males. What happens when their support is cut off and they become the hunted?

This will be my first trip to Italy. Some years ago friends of mine traveled there on a vacation and ended up buying property and staying. They've graciously offered to show me around If I make the trip. So, I'm making the trip. The only problem is I don't speak the language so it will be nice having them show me around. My advice on that trip to Venice is, just go. It's only money and you can replace it, but time is something you can't replace.

True. I also want to go to Japan, there's a couple of places I want to see.

Maybe someday.

A friend of mine just got back from Japan, he spent a couple of months there and said the cities he visited were the cleanest he'd ever seen. He said that the Japanese people were friendly and helpful but he felt they were a very parochial people and only tolerated Westerners. :)
