I think a loyal following helps there, LC. Not that your writing doesn't deserve high scores. For me with virtually no following, I'm going to get hammered. I am amazed at some of the high scores on LW. There is so much effort made by so many at driving them down.

I do have a following and my first LW came after being here for a couple of years.

However, my following couldn't save me from the last one which even after a huge contest sweep is still only 3.01.

I wrote this one to infuriate the "real men" and the cuck bashing woman haters.

If I had added some affection between the wife and cuck husband I could have pulled a higher score, but I set out to flame them and held to it.

As noted by others, post a story in LW at your peril. I've just added a new one, and it is receiving the full treatment. If you ask me, it may not even belong in LW, because it really doesn't follow the normal story line one might expect. Not saying that would matter anyway. They sniff them out like bloodhounds to have .

Just wanted to point something out that I find pretty funny. Regarding the story you refer to posting today, the comment to it about the Anon War on LW is what caused me to finally register & search for what was ultimately this thread. I didn't realize it was the same story until I looked at your submissions and found today's date on the one I just read.

I'd also like to point out that I gave you 4 stars, as while it's not exactly what I might typically enjoy, it was definitely original enough to pique my interest. Thanks for both a laugh and an enjoyable read!

I think your answer is the correct one: that it's religious nutballs that come in and 1-bomb the LW stories.
But there's also a group that comes in with hateful comments, and when I delete those they go nuts, and I mean truly nuts, about their worthless comments being deleted. That's when the personal threats start, which I notify the Literotica owners about by reporting the threats.

Last but not least: Ferdinand Porsche (not Albert Speer) invented the Volkswagen Beetle design. And it was a darned good one; I owned a Super Beetle for years, and it saved my life when some bozo (probably a 1-bomber) ran a red light and hit me.

Depends on the situation. If you look at some of my series of stories (see link below), you'll see that sometimes I post a non-erotic story to get the mystery story moving along, and there was no real good place to include sex or eroticism. Ergo, the non-erotic story. I also find it amusing that of my 40+ submissions, the highest rated one is a non-erotic story. So the non-erotics have their place.

No, this being an erotica site and some readers expecting it to be so doesn't have any "depends" to it. If you post nonerotic stories here, which you certainly can do, you need to expect some guff from those who expect an erotica site to only have erotica on it. No "depends" to that at all. You don't have to pay attention to the criticism, of course--but that doesn't mean you'll get sympathy from all for complaining about it on the forum.

However there are many series here with no sex in the first chapter(especially in romance) and not a lot of complaints. I have sexless chapters in SWB, but its higher chapters so by then people cared more for the story.

There's fans for everything here and not every reader needs to read one handed all the time.

There will be complaints, but there will be good feedback as well.

Crazy, thoughtless, narcissistic bitch. He should have found out/discovered her about to do it, and left her worthless ass. There is no love there. Only heartache. I would prefer death to marriage to such a selfish person. Despicable. Well written grammatically, but the plot and character arcs leave a great deal to be desired in numerous ways. It may be rated well, but that is merely a measure of the literary maturity of the average rater. Two stars, the second for the impeccable grammar, the first because there was an utter lack of character depth in this story. The characters were cardboard. You can do better.

The best fantasies are somewhat believable. Readers can relate to them because they can picture themselves in that situation. Both characters and circumstances should be somewhat plausible. This story has a few difficult to believe characteristics, so it turns from fantasy to a curiosity kept at arm's length. For instance, how successful can 2 doms be in a long term relationship? (OK, I've been the dom long enough--your turn!) And how could such an extreme sub be "rich"? Among other difficulties with the story. When it doesn't make sense, the story loses its steam. Good try though...

This comment is not overly nasty, but shows what people think they know as opposed to truth.

First amateurs like to say they know dom/sub they have no clue about "switch" which the wife obviously was.

However a top that sometimes rewards a sub with a chance to top is not unheard of either.

got one bombed this weekend.

This weekend I got a story posted in the LW section. The story actually didn't get treated badly in the comments, they ranged from great to terrible as usual. Oddly most of the comments were NOT anonymous. But suddenly my few higher rated stories dropped, and of my very few "h" stories, two dropped. One from 4.54 to 4.44 and the other from 4.53 to 4.49. Although the one that dropped the most didn't have that many votes to start with. And the other has been slowly dropping month by month for some time. Neither was in the LW category!

It could be coincidence. I suppose when I've been posting for a longer time and gotten more stories under my belt I'll look back and laugh, but right now I'm suffering from fragile ego syndrome. That and I haven't been enthused by any of the other stories I'm working on right now.
