That's an outright lie....there are numerous people on this board alone that want to ban guns and strongly advocate shit canning the 2A.
I can name numerous (D) politicians that want to ban guns, Feinstein, Obama, Clinton, Pelosi, Giffords, Bloomberg...should I go on?
I mean most don't try b/c they know they can't win that fight, not yet....but they have been quit clear...they don't think people should own guns....I'm willing to bet if you dig a bit you will find numerous quotes where they advocate only the state(military/cops) being armed.
No we have a LW...they are all about "The Greater GOOD!!" and shitting on the individual for it in the process...we have plenty of that left wing yummy, shit tons of it.
So why don't you and the rest of the anti gun loonz just make the 2A go away?
Because 3/4 of the state legislatures will not vote to repeal it in your lifetime or mine. But, it's always fair play to argue in the courts for a narrow interpretation of it.

Getting a judge involved is a legit technique. The people aren't always (or even usually) correct. That's the reason we have courts in the first fucking place and the reason we've had them for centuries. People are dangerously stupid.
I've never heard anybody on this board, certainly no American, advocate for the banning of guns. Not even something that could be sensibly translated into that. And yes you should go on. Giffords in particular should be interesting. She's the senator who got shot and then celebrated getting out of the hospital by watching her husband shoot skeet on their property. If that's your idea of someone who wants to ban guns then we need to get you a narrower definition cus she don't qualify.

Like I said, it's always fair game to argue in court for a reading of the Constitution, or of the statutory law or the case law, that is favorable to your own political agenda. All sides on all issues do it every chance they get. You know that. Everybody knows that.
