it's skin cancer and he's booked in for treatment. It's not a pretty thing, on his shoulder, but with removal, plastic surgery to replace the skin area and possible follow up treatments he should be good. Thankyou.

Skin cancer is one of the areas that have seen significantly improved outcomes.

And plastic surgery has advanced quite dramatically as well.

Really one of the best of the worst scenarios. (Still sucks though.)

Sooo, i havent worked since the week before Thanksgiving... November 28th 2024, for those that dont care about Thanksgiving..

This is a cautionary tale, for those speeding through railroad crossings to beat an invisible train because you're late for work. Sometimes, there are railroad conductors walking close to the tracks. Were easy to spot. We are an old and grumpy people. Normally, wearing weathered warm clothing. We have a radio strapped to our chest, stand about 6ft 5 inches tall and weigh around 275 pounds. When you hit us, we do cause catastrophic damage to the front end of your suv. However, not enough to keep you from speeding away.

A request, please stop to see if we are ok and dont be frightened that we are still standing and look angry. Thats kinda our normal look, we are railroaders after all, its in the job description...

So, if any of you ever find yourself in this position, please, slow down near rail crossings. You're not the only person trying to do a job that day. We may look like we are already dead inside, but i can assure you, we are very much alive and feel pain...

Skin cancer is very common down here. Too common. I think it’s 2 in 3 people get skin cancer in Australia. The UV radiation is high. 15% higher than Europe or so they reckon.
