US House of Representatives unlikely to vote on Ukraine aid before mid-March

 shame on them, and on the Senate GOP taking those 2 weeks when issues are so vital, like keeping the gov't actually running. Of course, the house republicans will still be scouring the ground for anything they can use against President Biden in their impeachment attempt during this time.

Johnson was shown on TV today with Trump and others at Mar-a-Lago for a powwow on issues. Certain to have discussed how to thwart further funding issues.

I thought of a tweak for press briefings. Instead of dozens of reporters all shouting to be heard, they do a rotating schedule of 1, 2, or 3 reporters each day, to calmly ask questions, hear answers, and then ask more questions.

Armenia announces it's suspended its membership of putin's "mini-nato"

Russian President Vladimir Putin was caught off guard by Armenia's suspending its membership of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), a crucial military alliance for Moscow.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during an interview with France 24 on Friday that Armenia would leave CSTO, viewed as Putin's response to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), a Western military alliance. CSTO is an alliance in which member nations pledge to support one another in the event of an attack and has frequently been referred to as Putin's "mini NATO."
