These asinine comments not only diminish the significance of our nation’s highest award for valor, but also crassly characterizes the sacrifices of those who have risked their lives above and beyond the call of duty.


While the Presidential Medal of Freedom maybe our nation’s highest civilian award, the Medal of Honor is more sacred as it represents the gallantry and intrepidity of courageous and selfless service members, often at the cost of grievous wounds and even their lives. It’s because of our Medal of Honor recipients that great Americans like Miriam Adelson have the freedom to live to their fullest potential and make such lasting contributions to our great nation.

My Dad's neighbor is a trumper and I made the mistake of acknowledging him this afternoon. He was saying how much better the economy was under trump. I said, "You just put a $40k addition on a house you bought in 2014 for $1.2 under Obama." *blank stare*

i don't do the twitter... i see lots of posts here using it and either like/whatever the initial post without clicking or go to other sources about the same story. I hate supporting musk's bully pulpit

Don't care which side of the aisle you sit your butt, what gender or skin-tone you wear, corruption is corruption and has to be weeded out for the health of democracy in America. And if these charges are true, as they appear to be, then taking advantage of the poverty-stricken is truly immoral.

Trayon White Sr., a Democrat who ran an unsuccessful mayoral campaign in 2022, was arrested Sunday on a federal bribery charge and released from custody after a brief court appearance Monday. His attorney declined to comment on the allegations against him.

White agreed in June to accept roughly $156,000 in kickbacks and cash payments in exchange for pressuring government agency employees to extend two companies' contracts worth over $5 million, prosecutors said.

Authorities say they have secretly recorded conversations between White and an FBI informant who gave White $35,000 in cash on four occasions between June and August.
