Indeed.....Hmmm, am toying with the idea of making a thread based on the Dragonball / DragonballZ / Dragonball GT series.....It would be set far in future, and feature the originals characters descendents.
 
I entertained thoughts about starting a DBZ thread, even had this huge intro post typed up about my version of how King Frieza conquered the galaxy and Bardock led a rebellion against him and all. Ultimately, I decided that the differences in power levels from race to race would create jealously, and everyone would want to be super saiyans. I suppose if it was altered to say that many Saiyans survived... I dunno. To be honest, I probably wouldn't play unless it really excited me.

yes the power level thing was something that got me as well...But I decided i'd set it in the future (200 years in fact) and basically the can be NO super saiyans, becuase the bloodline has been weakened by the human bloodline, to the point where saiyans are basically humans with a lil bit extra power.

I also put a limit on it, so that there could only be 2 partial saiyans, 1 Namekian, 1 shapeshifting animal, and the rest could be human.

Storyline is simple, they are looking for the dragonballs so that they bring back to life a friend who is now training with King Kai. Roshi is still alive as well.

It's also up to me what special powers everyone gets otherwise we get 15 kamahameha users, and no one who uses the destructo disk or Wolf fang fist.

Of course....there is someone who wants the dragons balls for an evil reason, but no-one atm knows anything about him except his name which is in the ooc.

The original Goku and Vegeta are now mere legends.

Uwah. I don't know if I've ever mentioned it, but...

I'm going to do my very best not to bold, underline and caps lock most of this post. It's hard, but I will resist the temptation.

Anyway, a few weeks ago, I posted a topic telling everyone about my audition that was coming up. First of all, that went well and I was gifted with a commercial role. It should be on US Television sometime mid-January of next year, so stay tuned for that. But moving on, the latest news is this: I recently was given the chance to record a vocal demo in a real studio. (Vocal Demo being a small clip that consists of different voices I can do.) And just let me say this, when I heard the playback I was all like, 'DUDE THAT IS NOT ME' and my friends were like, "YEAH IT IS, YOU DOPE."

Whoops. I used caps lock.

Anyway, I sent to newly made clip to ADV Films and Funimation. AND GUESS WHAT? I get a call back and I've been invited to an open casting audition for an upcoming anime. I don't know WHAT anime or WHAT roles I'll be auditioning for, I just know that on Feburary 17th, 2009 I will be standing in a studio AUDITIONING FOR A REAL ANIME.

.... so yeah. That's my update. Sorry for the caps lock thing again. >>

Thank you. :3 And no, I've never been told that. Normally I get picked on for having such a freaky talent. xD

Thats really good, I wouldn't mind getting into voice acting (if not real acting) at some point....at the moment i'm in a amatuer dramatics society, but acting is the actual career i want lol.

Is jealous, but in a good way.

Yeah, same...I actually took a voice acting last a few semesters ago. Was totally fun...
