I climb back up the mountain after a long week looking forward to a restful weekend. I know that in the Lodge I will find peace and an inviting place to wind down and find stillness. As I enter I find an empty room but a warm and welcoming fire. In the air is a hint of something that I cant quite place, a sense of sadness or maybe regret, but then a connection, I hope the souls that visited before me are able to find rest and comfort from each other. I place a few more logs into the fire before taking several blankets and a few pillows to the floor. I curl up in a warm ball next to the fire and drift off.

* the time change in the states has me bleary eyed as I move about the place, having let my chores go ,there is more than usual amount of work..but I don't mind this morning .deep in my own thoughts, as I am making coffee *

Wanders in so tired I can barely see strait and hears the magic word.

* Finally I have the new latch back from the blacksmith , working in the cold of the morning I set about replacing the old latch with one that has a Handel you just press down on and it releases the bolt..still no lock on the door but easier for a large cat to use,settling in I make some coffe and wait for my friends..

wandering up toward the lodge, the first thing I notice is the new handle on the door.

Slipping inside to have my nose tickled by His scent, and the sweet aroma of the coffee..***** cold be a lot worse

Easing up behind him and wrapping my arms around his waist, nibbling the side of his neck

*The wet slushy snow of spring falling after a couple of days of warmth,I come through the door, my boots soaking I take them off.Then I notice the place smells of roses,smiling remembering my sweet Yeishia.
