The Lounge's Summer Pool Party

"Nice," I say. "I can't wait to read them," I smile. I put my drink aside and lay down, resting in the sun, tanning as I leave you to your work.

:)

Slips in quietly and walks over to the bar to fix himself a lemonade. He smiles as he glances over a Brit and at the lovely newcomer, listening quietly to their conversation about writing for a minute before he takes a sip. He carries his glass over next to Brit and leans down to give her a kiss.

Hey there lovely. Smiling as he winks at her.

And ahh, a newcomer. He turns toward Carnival and smiles, examining her pink bikini for a second before nodding. A pleasure to meet you.

Smiling as he sits down and stretches out his legs, enjoying the sun. How's the day treating you?

He laughs, and then winks back at her, glancing at the view, and then at the two lovely ladies next to the pool.

Well, you're not lying about that. His lips turn upward into an amused grin. he takes a sip of his lemonade, thankful for something refreshing to drink while out in the heat.

"I'm Caitlyn," I say, my eyes behind my sunglasses checking you out. "Hm," I think. "Not bad. I could get some bad ideas from him." I smirk, nibbling my lip a bit.

Smiles brightly at the familiar face that appears, kissing Noon back before he pulls away.

"Hey you," she replies, "sorry if I seemed a little distant only I was just...writing something."

She giggles and sips some of her own drink.

"How's your weekend started, handsome?"

He smiles back at Brit's return kiss and then nods, winking at her playfully. Oh, were you writing something fun? I hope so, because that would be good. You'd be such a good girl.

Smirking to himself as he leans back in his chair and leans back, nodding. I think it's been a rather fantastic start tot he weekend for me. In fact, sinfully good in some ways. I may have been reaping a bit of wickedness. We'll see if I have any to sow, later on.

He nods at her and then glances back at Caitlyn, with a nod. he catches her tooth nibbling at her own lip, wondering if she even realizes she's doing it, but putting a smile on his face. Hey there Caitlyn. I'm just Noon, about these parts. Probably my sunny disposition or something.

He tilts his head thoughtfully. I've known a few Caitlyn's, actually. There's one who used to be a regular around here, and a Caitlin was one of my best friends growing up.

I sit up on my chair and adjust my suit before grabbing my towel. "I'll let you guys chat," I say, as I stand up. "It was nice talking with you," I say to Brit, before turning to the man with my beat cute little girl grin. "Find me when I get back," I say, interested in chatting with him more. I head off toward my apartment, my ass looking cute and swaying with each step as I head off for a little while.

I give her a quick wave and a smile as she gets up to leave. Well, I'm sorry you have to go, but it was nice meeting you, lovely. He grins and then turns back to Brit. She seemed nice.

So how is the weekend treating you, so far? You're a few hours ahead of me in enjoying it.
Grinning.

Wearing sunglasses and a floppy hat, sandals and board shorts, he makes his way down to the pool, humming to himself as he goes. His shirt is already off, the weather sunny and warm, and tossed over his shoulder so he has it for later. His first stop is the bar, a drink something of a prerequisite anymore, he pulls down bottles of light and dark rum, and opts for a mixture of tropical fruit juices today. Crushed ice in the glass, and then he glances up as he pours, smiling at who he sees down by the water, fingers dancing over keys.

Lifting the newly filled glass to his lips, he takes a small sip and sighs with content at the mixture of flavors. Bottles are quickly replaced, and he lifts the glass again off the bar. His shirt is tossed onto a lounge chair as he passes by, and then he makes his way down to the small gathering of people.

"Afternoon, everyone!"

"Nice chatting with you at last, Caitlyn," she smiles as the other girl takes her leave before looking back to Noon with a grin of a different sort.

"I guess in reference to my writing it would depend entirely on your definition of fun. But, in my mind? I've been a very good girl." A giggle and a wink. "But that remains to be seen I suppose."

"And my own weekend has started rather well too, thanks. There have been words to write, and a shiny new lens has been purchased and played with ahead of my professional engagements in the coming weeks. A very good day indeed."

A new voice and another much loved face appears.

"Hello to you too!"

*walks in to find it rather crowded of a sudden. I was hovering around last night, but things were slightly awkward for a minute there... I'm glad things seem much more friendly and collaborative this afternoon.*

Good afternoon, Noon, Scuttle, Brit.

*makes his way to Brit and gives her a good, firm hug around the middle, noticing her work a moment later.*

Oh shit... you're in the middle of a distraction soup right now!

Smiles and returns Shark's hug warmly before grinning mischievously and putting her writing to the side.

"Goodness me. Three gentlemen such as yourselves in attendance and only little old me here to enjoy your company. Lucky me, I guess!"

Steps back toward the group. "Sorry....left my drink." I pick it up and take a sip. "But it looks like a party's forming. Can I stay a bit longer?"

Smiles and returns Shark's hug warmly before grinning mischievously and putting her writing to the side.

"Goodness me. Three gentlemen such as yourselves in attendance and only little old me here to enjoy your company. Lucky me, I guess!"

Good thing you brought a hole for each of us.

*smiles ruefully.*

No, no, she's a good girl, I forgot we were pretending.

*takes an energy drink to rehydrate after the whiskey.*

CB, of course you're welcome as long as you want to stay.

*smiles at her, pouring his drink back into that silly-ass cup with the goofy straw.*

"Good," I say, planting myself on the loubge chair once more. "I'm happy to stick around with so many cute guys. And Brit of course!"

Smiles and returns Shark's hug warmly before grinning mischievously and putting her writing to the side.

"Goodness me. Three gentlemen such as yourselves in attendance and only little old me here to enjoy your company. Lucky me, I guess!"

"Make that four gentlemen." *as Orca comes into the bar. He walks up behind Ms Brit and gives her a peck on the cheek.*

"You look lovely this afternoon. And after a night of chasing......well, I'll leave that for another conversation. Did I here someone say they liked the dark side of story telling? Tell me more."

*And he goes around the bar to find himself a glass.*

He smiles and nods at SB as he slips in. Good afternoon to you, as well. Grinning inwardly with enjoyment at the crowd that is slowly gathering. The pool party was, in hindsight, such a brilliant idea.

Hey, you're here too, LS! Waves at him, then decides it's time to finish his lemonade and grab something a bit stronger to drink. He brushes past Caitlyn on her way in and then winks at her. Oh, you're welcome to stay. It's an open aprty and lovely ladies are unlikely to be a distraction. He laughs as he head toward the bar.

What are you drinking, Caitlyn?

"That was me." I say. "What do you want to know? I like a lot of incest, non con, blackmail....situations where the girl is strong, but powerless. I'm kind of warped like that. It gets me in trouble in real life. So instead I write. I mean, I don't JUST write, but.....ah....I'll stop talking now." I blush and grin at the same time.

Brit finds herself with an empty glass, this is not good. Thrilled to see so many people at the poolside, she excuses herself and heads to the bar to refill her drink. Unsure yet what to have

Pausing to hug Scuttle on her way past, just because.

"Oh, I have always had an infatuation with the dark side. Erotic horror, the monster that resides in all of us. Sometimes they are beautiful monsters in hiding, sometimes they are in plain site. I like a strong girl, but put in a hopeless situation."

*He knows he is the older person here at this party.* "And by the way, my sweet, you may call Rod."

He grins at the freckled one, offering a hug and a peck on her cheek as he lowers himself down next to her.

"Productive freckles, I see! How's the writing going?"

He catches LS 'arrival and gives a wave, waiting until the other man is closer before speaking up.

"Before I forget, I added on another class. It seemed like a good idea to have an Intro class, seeing the age and experience level of applicants we are getting. Should be easy enough to work in, I would think."
