"The movie was okay, but the book..."

I heard that two ten-year-old girls are raped in A Clockwork Orange. Does that happen in the movie too? Or is everyone raped in the movie 18 & over?

'My Sister's Keeper' by Jodi Picault.

The book was moving and so well-written. I refuse to go see the movie because it is so different from the book, and I won't mention why in case anyone wants to go see it, or read the book afterwards. But I don't understand why someone felt the need to change the entire ending...

I think The Lord of the Rings film trilogy was better because the Hobbits weren't singing all the time like in the book. Their songs went on and on and on.

The poems were very good in the book however:

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager/weary feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

The Road goes ever on and on
Out from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
Let others follw it who can!
Let them a journey new begin,
But I at last with weary feet
Will turn towards the lighted inn,
My evening-rest and sleep to meet.

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate;
And though I oft have passed them by,
A day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon, East of the Sun.

Can I change my mind? :D
