The Nail Thread

I love the rusty red! My last car was that colour, so pretty popular with me. I also have luggage and jewelry to match :D

I was just putting an end of summer into autumn coppery bronze colour on my swollen trotter nails ( it's called 'brick shimmer' and is a mYbelline colour) when I thought that looks familiar, moved my trotter across the bed and.....yes.....it kind of matches fire dog.

Um, my feet are swollen and not so pretty...usually not as bad as G's but worse tonight!

They are MUCH cuter than Gs !
Sorry, G :D
Fire dog toes! :)

:) I like coppery colors. I don't think I own any... (O_O) I should get some.

Here's Poisonberry I'm holding a Cats Wink compact. ;)

Looking through polishes I think the colours I have made most 'mistakes' with buying are shades of gold. Some of the ones I own will just never suit me.

They are quite useful for painting doll's house furniture with though. :D

Gold isn't my favorite, but copper looks good against my skin. I have a shimmery gold color that actually looks really good on me though, I like to wear it for holiday dinner parties. :)

Oh, and I have a shimmery dark red that is also suitable for holiday dinner parties. I don't feel embarrassed to wear it either. Perhaps it's because it seems like an appropriate occasion for it.

You need a copper then if you both like it and it suits you ;)

I love coppers, and golds. I imagine a dark red does flatter your skin.

I like poison berry on you too.

I'm glad you like it. :) I have a lot of colors like Poisonberry that I wear. I'm curious about the golds that you have, it's not a color that is commonly available.

Poisonberry is very pretty. :)

You guys think about the colors way more than I do. I just slather on whatever color I feel like and never think if the color looks good against my skin or not. I've gotten the confirmation that I woman wrong. :D

I'll dig them out and snap them for you.

Seela, you do not woman wrong. You seela right.

Part of elleing right is that I don't care about fashion colours, but I do feel a bit odd wearing something I think is a summer colour in the winter, and a winter colour in the summer.

G has a particular thing for my nail varnish, have I said that? He like is to be a little chipped, :D.

See, I don't think about the colors enough to even tell apart summer and winter colors. I prefer darker colors and metal colors, so I wear them all year around. Those and a ridiculously bright red that suits nobody. :D

Ok, I wear gold more in summer, but I still do wear it sometimes in winter too. Hmm. Maybe I'll have to wear gold next just because I know I won't be wearing it that often now that the fall and winter are creeping in. And the bottle is starting to run out too, so it's even more reason to use it.

Well I did it. My sister called, which always means I start to rip off my nail polish, so while I could have just fixed the one nail I destroyed, I decided to go down the golden route. Two or three more rounds left in the bottle after this, but then I can say bye bye to this one, too. :)

It's called Golden Sand. And look, yet another tea mug!

Oh! I like this color. :) I have one that actually looks pretty close to sand. It's a color that was part of a zodiac themed collection. I got the one for my sign and it looks like the beach (ones I'm used to).

I love this but the nails are waaaay too long.

It doesn't look like the beaches here. But I do like it that it's a tiny bit grainy when you first put it on. When it wears out a bit, it gets smooth. It's not glittery though and very easy to remove.

Silver

Although I don't think that's really silver. At least it's not like any of the other silvers I own or have owned. I like it a lot.

Also in the background my weirdly long toes that make shopping for flipflops impossible. Naturally the color of my toenails doesn't mach my fingernails.

Zero tea mugs involved this time.
