I want the weather to start cooling off. I love sweaters and cozy things. :sigh: To be able to wear layers or cardigans and light scarves or even my hooded cape...

I have wanted a cape for forever and ever! I'm just afraid I will end up like Hyperbole and a Half with the Dino suit... :p

Hmmmmm. :suspiciousicon:

* * *

As an aside, we need more icons. :cattail:

Yep. Suspicious. Agreed :D

Do not be extra sad faced. It wasn't the best picture of me. I shall post it and send a message some day for those that want it. :)

Want, please! :)

Yes, please. :)

I had a cape once. Black broadcloth lined with red satin and a deep hood. It hung nearly to my ankles and fastened at the throat with a silver brooch. As I recall, I spent a lot of time wearing it. Amazing what one can justify as a suitable occasion for cape wearing in the Texas heat! :D

My cape time seemed to limit my productiveness. Possibly because it seemed to include a lot of posing in front of mirrors and plate glass windows, and striding about. The latter punctuated by periodic bouts of flinging one side of my cape open to reveal one long while leg and admire the effect of the contrasting black and red combo.

I had to get rid of it.

So, yeah. Collar and a cape?

Collar + Cape = Danger, Danger :D

I wish I understood any of these instructions.

http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/build-cloud-lamp-sound-reactive-lightning

This Luddite still opts for candlelight often and is stumped when electrics don't respond to 'have you tried switching it off and turning it back on...?" Or giving things a sharp wallop.

The instructions are pretty straight forward as far as I can see.
I would not try to push 10A through a breadboard however, they are only good for low currents and temporary set-ups.

Electronics and programming are really pervertable skills.
(I also do blacksmithing and leatherworking :D )

Well, I only have one month's rent left in my bank account, so I'm scrambling to find a job that will both work around my school schedule and keep my weekends for art fairs.

Feeling low. :(

Note to self..

Don't decide to put lip salve on when you're driving to work at 4.30 am, because

A) as you rummage blindly in your handbag, you will grab the dark coloured one you have forgotten you own, instead of the clear one you think you're choosing
B) as you apply it whilst driving, your aim will be far less accurate than you think it is
C) you will wonder why your staff are chuckling every time they look at you, because they will let you wander around looking like Coco the Clown for at least half an hour before mentioning that maybe you should go look in the mirror...

No pix?

I give up. People are either too lazy or too damned stupid. At some point, maybe soon, my evil half is going to come out. It exists, it really does.

Well, I'm guessing seela should be at least half way through her drug mule sentence by now. She's really lucky. Should have known better...

Doing a computer operating system upgrade. Now we're "checking for updates." Uh huh, seems like it's been checking for updates going back to the Harding administration. Or maybe the invention of the abacus.
