Good news has a smile permanently plastered on my face. I literally cannot stop smiling.

Sometimes the depth of my depravity really astounds me.
I think I speak for the rest of us when I say: tell us more.
A weird day for birding
weird how?
Many of the birds were not acting the way they always act.
That's weird.
Keep an eye on the weather. Are you in earthquake country?
Many of the birds were not acting the way they always act.
That's weird.
So I usually call and chat with my mom once a week.
At some point she decided that her husband and my son needed phone time - okay, I can do that.
Now, she won't talk to me unless her husband is there to talk to my son. Not really feelin' the love mom, not really feelin' the love.
maybe there's some bird drama behind the scenes that you aren't aware of? some inter-species squabble brewing, perhaps ?
on my kitchen windowsill feeder i've noticed bluejays acting like jerks to the other birds, but beyond that i'm pretty clueless on the subject
It's going to be normal, right?
(。-_-。)

Indeed!
The fox ate most of my poultry last year, while letting rAbbits who we could so with out, hop fearless ly everywhere. I just have a few marans and people who show lust will find away: parentage includes non bearded silkies and millefleur Pekin bantams. And a couple of geese. The geese can wander a bit, but they do return. Stupidly I taught them the call 'BOYS'. G just quietly goes to get them.
*seela eyebrow waggle*
Whaaa???
You know... Your suggestive eyebrow waggle.
I was effecting an eyebrow waggle like you do when unmentioned sexual stuff might be involved
My dog has been ill, in hospital. She went I. With what I thought was a slipped disc, an they thought so too at first, but it turns out to be something more serious, not spinal at all, but medical. She's contacted pneumonia through the week and had a terrible time with a drug reaction and missing us, and just bing wretched. She is normally very, very stoic. Although things aren't great they let me bring her home for the weekend, because I can easily do the injectables and if in any doubt, I have them on call. After not being able to keep anything down for a few days , she has come home, polished off her supper and some extra. . We know its not a great prognosis, but to have her home, eating and in bed with us, is better.
