The NEW UK Kink Thread

So, the moon turns red, mars turns wet, and facebook turns off. Spooky!

How is everyone? Surviving ok in a post soggy mars, non facebook society ;)

Indeed! I've been the proud receiver of a Daisy hug. :D

My wife and I are both huggers as well. We like to share them around. :)
.

That is a lovely philosophy :) Hugs all round then. Gosh, really must get to November LAM just for the hugs :D

Well, I don't have an emergency survival kit  but most things seem normal. My nails are now a violent purple but that is because I just painted them - not another omen so no need to panic!

Yes -- it'll be worth the trip for that reason alone. :D

I've been told that, when I was a small child, I hated cuddles and other close physical contact. I'm making up for lost time now! :)

This moon thing, do you think it could have anything to do with that strange dream I had the other night? The one about running through town on all fours, and howling at the moon? And I thought that the trail of blood up to the front door was just next door's cat being a little over enthusiastic with the local wildlife

A telling insight to the soul of elle: my parents were non tactile. I love touch.

Similar story here, non-tactile, not much in the way of public shows of affection. I'm quite the opposite, love hugs and snuggles :)

Well, maybe at a proper all get together when you can finally come with us, we shall be the most tactile group, all hugging and so on. :). If we stand by Daisy's stall though people might wonder if her wares can really be so punishing!

Now that is very attractive suggestion indeed, and I'd love to make that happen sometime :) I just need to come up with a reasonable explanation for disappearing on my own for the day :D

Morning all! Agree it is a beautiful morning. Managed to meet up with Master yesterday. I am so happy he wants me to be me

Sure we can come up with lots of really unlikely suggestions :D
Looking forward to this enormous group hug :cattail:

Now this could take on a life all of it's own, lol :) "Erm, well, I accidentally typed 'flogger' instead of 'florist' into the satnav, and just sort of ended up there"

I think that's a wonderful discovery for you to make! So many people feel a need to change; others want to alter someone else. Your Master has the power to make you be different, but he wants you to stay exactly as you are. :D

For what it's worth, you seemed to my wife and me to be lovely just the way you are. :)

my keen meter is pegging on empty today I am afraid. Another safety officer who feels their sole role in life is to reject documents because of picky little things has swung into my orbit.

Yesterday they told me they were rejecting a document because

They didn't like the format (Tough shit)
They didn't like that it said "Tick hazards" and I'd used X's
That they didn't want all the "filler" just the bullet points (Not your call to dictate what we put in a document, it's for our protection in the event of an incident. I'll add stuff in for you, but not take it out)

Seriously, your job is not to make my life difficult, it's to keep people safe and none of those points do a thing to keep people safe! Arrggghhhh!

Hi Malich, oh I do so love safety officers like that!! Had one on that last project that I was on, who said there was a problem with one of the barriers that we'd installed. It seemed that the operators couldn't get past it..... "It's a barrier!! The clue is in the description. It's there to stop them getting past!!" Idiots. That was the same guy that pulled us up over a 2" x 3" hole in a floor when we were installing some new structure, and insisted that it was filled in "immediately". We asked him about the 3ft wide, 2ft high gap under a handrail that was big enough to throw your granny down, and had been there for 15 years. Apparently, that was an 'old risk' and was not under review  So it would appear that old dead is not as serious as new dead. Oh well

Big hi to LittleBambi too, nice to have you around :)

Elle, hope that cough eases off soon :rose:. Hoping to get out this weekend with little fella and get some fresh air while the weather's still decent.

LucyBee, Always be yourself, and it's good that you've found someone who accepts you for it :) I spent a large chunk of my life denying parts of existed because I felt that others saw them as 'unacceptable'. It isn't healthy, trust me on that. I'm a lot happier in myself since I ditched that attitude.

:eek::eek: Thank you :rose:
Master is encouraging me with a few changes, but they are changes I want to make but haven't quite had the confidence or impetus to do so by myself.

There is no point ever trying to be someone else. :rose:

Well said oh wise one :) But so easy to fool oneself into thinking it would be better to be someone else and put effort and stress into that. Guess I have worked through a lot of that to come to the same conclusion as you.

Hope you feel better soon.

Good, really glad to hear that :)

Had today off work. It's so sunny and warm! Serious time spent in a hair salon as a treat. I love having my hair played with

I like this a lot! It's the type of dominance that feels like my natural style. I'm not interested in asserting my will purely as a personal power trip; I need to see it as part of a shared game plan -- even a personal mission.

Presumably, your Master provides you with the framework and motivation to make changes, your willingness to follow these brings satisfaction to your Master, and the changes themselves are beneficial to you both. That's clearly a symbiotic relationship! :)

I'm still learning about myself and my role, so this type of insight is very helpful to me.
