Once I got over the embarrassment of going in, the staff were delightful and I felt like a kid in a candy store! Wow.

I have just been lurking as had to concentrate on my course. But hooray! It's over! There is some post-course work, but my trainer says he is happy for me to go out and start mediating straight away.

Been for a celebration/Christmas meal with an old friend. Ah, nice.

Afternoon everyone, it's been mad around here recently too!! Still, trees are up, lights are on, all pressies bought (almost ), just the little fella's left to wrap, cards written, and we're just about ready. I'm sure something will go astray, but we're looking good so far.

Well, after close of play today, I'm done here until the New Year, so I won't be around as much. Will get on when I can though

Hello UK peeps, how is everyone?

If we're talking about Christmas, we don't really bother to be honest. We're both atheist and where I work is so utterly festooned with decorations and so on that I really enjoy the tranquillity of our unadorned little house when I get home. Got all the prezzies except one, which is proving tricky. No... 2 presents still need to be bought! Humph. I've chucked all the cards into the post and cleared out our local Aldi, so that's about the size of it really.

Yep, I've been lousy at posting here. Currently suffering from Belle withdrawal as she's back in Hong Kong for 4 weeks.

I am... mostly ready for Christmas. Not a huge proponent of it, but it's nice to give gifts to a few special people. When i was married we used to hold a "Thanksgiving" meal on the 28th (ish) for those friends who'd meant the most to us over the year. Ex is still hosting it so I'll be there with a small bag of gifts for those I care enough to buy for

Of course, I'd be remiss if I didn;t say my best gift this year has been Belle

Goodness!

Had a quiet day with the small people and my parents. I am avoiding the big gatherings this year, I find I don't get much enjoyment from them.

Saw Master just before Christmas, unfortunately we spent the whole day in A&E and culminated in him having a minor op under local, and some life changing health news :-(
He is ok, just struggling a bit.

I was horrendously busy before Christmas, I am taking a week off, but need to make ahead of LAM on the 3rd. Will be really happy to see any of you who fancy a New Year wander down to the big smoke.

Hope everyone stays safe with this next round of flooding due
