The NEW UK Kink Thread

Hi mrkinky, welcome aboard :). This thread does ebb and flow quite a bit and has been fairly quiet recently, but there's a fine and friendly bunch on here, and we all tend to show up eventually :D

It did, which is good because now I have a Belle again! Wooooooooooooooo!

And hello mrkinky, welcome

Aaww, lovely, you kids have fun reuniting :)

Hi and welcome to the thread mrkinky.

It is definitely cold now. So I have painted my nails blue to be wintry too. Makes a change from scarlet anyway.

And my knee is hurting already, grr. So much for that resolution! Might be able to make it into a cycle/cross trainer thing instead of running, but I love running... sigh.

Have you had a session with someone to check your technique? ( do you have torsion in your stride, are you wearing the best shoes for you? ) Is it an old injury? Could it do with some 'proper' rehab ?

Blue nails in winter are very lovely!

I painted fingernails over Christmas too, so weird for me nowadays. They lasted a day each time  in my sticking there was temperature reactive nail polish and G and I have had fun seeing where is warm and cold.

I had a gait analysis when I bought my new trainers, so they have a bit of a slanted heel to compensate for how my feet naturally land and wear out the outside of my heels. But no real medic's analysis. I once visited a podiatrist who offered this... hmm. It is an old problem, no idea when it started, but that knee has been problematic years ago when I ran. Proper knee rehab - might be what I need. Nervous of going to the doctor (scary doctor) and just being told never to run. : /

Temperature reactive nail polish, nice! :)

Yaaaaaaas! Hehe ^^

Missed you all lots! Hope to see some of you in events and stuff~

Evening everyone - hope the week went well. Hi to everyone I've not met yet, and glad to see the return of a happy Malich :)

I've begun the initial stages of major life changes and, as I anticipated, there are going to be some rocky times ahead. But I'm hanging on to the hope of blue skies somewhere in the distance :)

As ever you know where we are if you need anything!!

And yes, those are some interesting chandeliers... but you do know cheerio is traditionally said when leaving right? :)

Anything we can do, just yell up.

So so. Had an enjoyable week with Belle even if things got a little messed up at times thanks to jet lag and stuff.

Work today was a bit frustrating. Long traffic delays because of a minor Fender Bender on the M621 that delayed me by nearly an hour... but the afternoon site rang up to cancel which helps

Elle, we all get a bit grizzly some times!

Reasonable....is unreasonable a sort of reasonable? I got really furious, that happens very rarely. I needed seven minutes alone to calm.

But otherwise it was reasonable. G has left earlier than usual this week, but it feels more natural in a way, to start week freshly this way. ( not connected to my rage, btw, just a coincidence of diary!)

I am impressed you recognised you could do with time out to calm and actually took it. Hope things get more reasonable for you xx.

I had a really exciting evening booked in for tonight. Most of it was going to be a surprise (for me!) too. Got all dressed up, got to the place and... alas, one of our friends involved in it all is suddenly ill : ( So I am worrying about her and at the same time feeling guiltily gutted with disappointment about the evening. Is just one of those things.

Hi folks, hope all's well with you all :)

LucyBee, I know that feeling, I was supposed to meet up with a friend of mine just before Christmas, but got a call that morning to say she'd gone down with a bug and couldn't make it. We hadn't seen each other for quite a while, and were really looking forward to it, but will be rearranging it for early this year. As you say, some things can't be helped.

Thank you. Yes, I don't feel rage very much any more. I still struggle with anger sometimes, but real 'rage' ....no. The only thing to do I think, for me, is to be alone and just change the mind subject.

I sometimes worry that this is internalising stuff, but....not sure what other options there are :D. You cannot go around like the Incredible Hulk ( one day, try and here that in Italian, so etimes I do that when I am cross to make myself laugh....don't turn into the 'incredeebilay Oolk'. )

I'm sorry about your evening plans. It used to happen a lot to us, til I stopped making and to go out. Hope you sent you master a picture of you all prettied up though...not wasted. :)

Hee hee, we are going out tonight and I am all dressed up ready to go... Master has decided to pop around before we go out. I am slightly nervous he may wish to change my outfit...

Yeah, am over the gutted feeling . Hope my friend gets better soon. Went to my local munch this week and it was packed! Kinky folk gradually filling more and more of the pub! :D
