Today for me is a trip to the local sunday market to re-stock the freezer with quite ridiculous quantities of meat!

Relatively quiet here today. That'll change once the Boychild returns home, but for now, I'm making the most of it!

My shiny weekend? Well, my girl dog, is unwell. But is home from hospital and is perky and it feels good to have our family together, G even let us sleep in a puppy heap, all six of us piled in the bed, cats, dogs, people in a knot....how we do when he isn't here, but with him here girl dog and I got to be in bed with him together...normally G says she is too big to share with us. The bonding of all being together is really cheering both of us up.

Also, last week I had to come off some of my meds to cope with drives to the vet school and so on. There is no doubt what I gain in some ways I lose in others. I enjoyed a week of a little more mental clarity, alertness. Its good to experience the other for a while too .

The great joy of spring in the air... coming, even if taking care of girl dog hasn't let me out in it this weekend.

Yes, don't worry, we don't always do the weather, we have been known to do bacon sandwiches (NO!! not them again!!) . And sometimes, we get "interesting", lol

I could sure do with some of that sleeping though Elle

I could do with less of it. The problem with sleeping and fatigue is the sleep doesn't really improve the fatigue . It does still feel good though for its own moment. It annoys me, I HATE being fatigued.

I see what you mean, like the body is getting the sleep, but the mind isn't quite getting the rest.
