That's a tough question to answer because we don't know what you look like!

All I would say is that lengthy layered style only works if the man or woman has reasonably thick hair, like your photo, otherwise it will just stick to your head and hang down in limp strands.

If you google images of Tom Mison you'll see what I mean - for his character he has long limp hair which doesn't look great outside of the tv show, whereas his usual shorter styles work much better for him. In my view, of course! (But I have seen him in real life too so I know whereof I speak )

Have sought overnight refuge at Master's which is wonderfully mouse-free.

Hi Lucy, annoying little beasts aren't they? With being so open here, we get them in the garden and occasionally in the garage, but the worst one was the one I found trying to nest in a pan under the sink. He didn't even bother to run off!! Good excuse to go over to Master's though

It's more practical than nice - I wouldn't get any sense out of them anyway!! And experience has shown that no-one will ring us, because they will be watching the game

( I will not be watching even were it not yoga afternoon, and G is not a sports watcher either...)

If I was alone, I wouldn't watch games (my sister would), but hubby and son are both very keen, so there is a lot of it in our house .

I sit and watch it with them sometimes but I get too annoying - I shout at the players when they're useless I'm more use in the kitchen, keeping the supply of food and drink going...

There was a mass exodus from the business park where I work at around 12 noon!! I imagine a lot of half day holidays have been booked today!

I would enjoy catering for people who enjoyed it...

Yes, I think it's great as well women's football gets a bit more attention now. Not that I would want to play it either. .

A girl who is a friend of my son has always played women's football, and she is now in the US on a sports scholarship

On another note, it's the anniversary of the Manchester bomb today. Hubby and I were in the city centre when it exploded, with our baby.

At first, we all thought it was a hoax, and we were wandering around grumbling. Then there was a massive noise and everyone started running. It crossed my mind that we could actually be running towards another device ready to blow

I wasn't allowed back to my car, which was actually parked only a couple of hundred yards from the bombers van (when I did get to it, about a week later, it was massively damaged with huge lumps of masonry). All public transport was off, so we eventually started to walk the 7 miles home. It was so hot, and we'd run out of drinks for the baby, so we called in a little newsagents. The guy there loaded us up with water and squash and refused to take any money from us.

The baby slept through the whole thing

Yes, I remember that. I'm from Warrington, and that's exactly what happened there, people fleeing the first bomb ran straight into the path of the second one. I was supposed to be in town that day but overslept, and by the time I got there, the whole place was locked down. Sometimes being an idle youth had it's good side.

It was a miracle that more weren't killed. Bridge St, where the bombs were planted, is quite narrow by city standards, and where the bombs were placed, there was literally nowhere to run. I think the devices were much smaller than Manchester, and the property damage much more contained. The devastation in Manchester was shocking, more so because I knew the area well, spending quite a bit of time in and around the Arndale, Oasis of to the side (in particular the Top Rock Shop), and the Corn Exchange. Happy days, those
