The NEW UK Kink Thread

Oh, I always fill up at a local station so I don't have to buy fuel on the motorway and I avoided the RAC sellers (and the credit card sellers :D).

I just called in to get a hot drink and a biscuit, and got very little change from a tenner

Ah, hello everyone :) See what the threat of the top hat can achieve?

Motorway services are dreadful. Not only are they well overpriced, but do they have to be so depressing while they're at? About the only time I remember being totally glad to see one was coming back over the Pennines on the bike one January (was the M62 for that matter) in the snow, and stopping to warm up under the hand driers!!

I find them fascinating places. I am not used to travelling by car, so motorway service areas still have a shiny newness and how pleasing to have several convenient shops and food places together.

Had a stroll outside this evening. So lovely to be able to do that and admire all the green places.

You did well! The pitch from the RAC tent seems to me to be suspiciously close to: "That's a nice car that you've got there; it would be a shame if it met with an accident".
.

How are we all this weekend?

I am looking forward to shopping for something pretty today :) I can't decide if it is still summer weather today, I think an extra layer might be needed (and a brolly).

A little disgruntled. Had to postpone a meeting for a family do.
Still, family is important too.

I'm in a good mood today (now I've woken up at any rate), had a great weekend with the little fella, which included snakes and lizards, cuddling a skunk (who was lovely!), and even got to hold a tarantula!! Loads of fun :D

Were you not worried about the skunk getting skunky?
And no, holding a tarantula does not sound fun. Still, whatever floats your boat :D

I sat in a field of daisies today. That was fun. Then I thought how my bottom would be covered in grass  oops...

Hi Lucy! Apparently, skunks are fine as long as they don't feel nervous or threatened; if they do, they'll, erm, make sure you don't make them feel nervous or threatened again. EVER!!! The tarantula was weird though, really light and soft, nothing like I'd expected. Still, it was a tick in the bucket list box, and not something that I intend to repeat very often :D

Funny thing, you don't seem to see daisies in the sort of numbers that you used to these days. Or is it just rose coloured glasses? Still get lots of bluebells in the woods behind the house though. Incidentally, how did you get the grass off?? :)

You get bluebells? How lovely! We had these in the woods near where I grew up. I try to visit end of April when they will be out as it is so beautiful to see them carpeting the woodland floor. :rose:

Hmmm, I think there are still plenty of daisies... now, buttercups I haven't seen in a while...

I got the grass off with my hands, btw

The nice thing about the bluebells is that they've migrated into the garden as well, and give us a lovely splash of early colour :)

Me neither, also in the UK.
I'm fineish.

Mentally fuzzy because I'm very tired but can't get to sleep for some reason.
Also hungry for sweet things, which is annoying since I don't have any.

Cuppa tea for you...

And for you too...with some honey to make it sweet.

I've had that today, all I've wanted was something sweet.. My head is all over the shop.. 😕😕

:)
I've not put honey in tea for at least half a decade now, I must try it again.

Well I'm going to try and sleep so I've got something wacky to post on the dream thread. So if I don't return, assume I was either successful or a serial killer got me.
