For UK kinksters in and around London tomorrow...

Picnic in Central London tomorrow (vanilla clothing!)

One of the London munches has organised a picnic tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon -- all welcome! The gathering starts in a pub in Central London at midday, and then moves onto green space for the "bring your own stuff" picnic -- supposedly until dark!

I'll be happy to pass on further details if anyone is interested. Mrs MF and I are expecting to go along. :)

Well, that's me done boys and girls, back in a week or so :D

See you all later :rose

Hope you have a good break :devil::D

Went to a big London munch with Master this evening. I was in a bouncy, playful mood, wanting to get to know lots of people. I felt like a firework, burning brightly, but I do burn out after a few hours and then I need to go home and be quiet :)
It was a fun evening and we met some interesting people, some new to the scene, others been around a while. Always fascinating to hear other people's stories.

I was in a bouncy, playful mood...
I can't imagine that. ;)

I know that feeling! :)

Glad that you had a fun time. Mrs MF and I couldn't make the London munch this time, but we assumed that it was going to be popular.

Anyone interested in the picnic in London this afternoon (see above)? Last calls soon...

Imagine meeting somebody you know who wasn't there for the community meet up.
This is probably what it would be like for me.

"Oh hello Mr Consilience. Fancy meeting you here."
"Hi ambiguous friend person, what a coincidence."
"Are you with all these people? So who are all your friends?"
*Drop of sweat runs off forehead*
"...Colleagues..."

"From work?"
"...No..."
"Why is almost everybody wearing a collar or other item of neck paraphernalia?"
*Sweat intensifies*
"...It's in fashion..."

Our received wisdom is that, if pressed by outsiders, one introduces the group as "friends of friends". That avoids the pitfall of being pressed to introduce individuals and experience the horror of having to say "Ummm... I don't know his/her name". For friends, that might seem odd, but for friends of friends it's perfectly reasonable that one wouldn't know everyone present. :)

Evening all and hello to the new faces

Well, I've survived my first few weeks in the south, the locals have not noticed me as an impostor and with luck I am now safe!

I have, however, just bought the most expensive piece of plastic I have ever owned. £3900 for an annual travel card. I plan to do a lot of journeys by train at the weekends just to get my money's worth out of it!

Hello and nice to meetcha etc. I'm assuming you've moved there from somewhere more Northern? Surely your approachability hasn't worn-off yet? I used to take the train from Newcastle to London once a week for work purposes. The most striking difference was the people. Not as friendly as northerners that's for sure!
As for the travel card.....I simply can't comprehend that. That's only slightly less than my car payment!

Helloooo and welcome :)

Hullo, nice to meetcha. Thanks for the welcome. :)

Pretty good today, and yourself?

Sorry, totally forgot to come back and reply! I'm all good thankyou but I see you're going away. Have a great time, wherever you've gone!

Too funny! However, it's totally in fashion! Walk into any high-street fashion type place and you can get a choker/informal collar easily. I have three. Because I'm down with the kids, you see. ;)

That sounds like fun! Hope the weather's accommodating and you both have a fabulous afternoon!

We had a fantastic time, thanks! The organisers brought a picnic hamper containing, amongst other things, chilled Prosecco and delicious wraps/sandwiches. We ate them in bright sunshine (our Vitamin D levels are well topped up!) as we watched others in the park flying kites, playing football and collecting Pokémon characters. We met familar faces and newbies, and the chat was engaging and kinky. Later, we grabbed mugs of tea and nibbled at ice creams as the sun descended. 'Twas great fun for all. :)

Glad you had a fun time and that the weather was good for it!

A last minute thing, but I spent a large chunk of Saturday doing intensive dance classes :nana:

I wanted to try lots of different styles. So I tried salsa, bachata, kizomba and reggaeton. All such fun! I think I found salsa easiest to grasp, but then the teacher was top notch. Bachata was fun but a little more fiddly and I think the teacher was trying to show us too much. Kizomba is weird - the hold with your partner is really close, but the footwork is all flat footed, like walking through sand... not sure about that! In all of these, which are partner dances, I did feel for the guys - having to learn not only all the moves but how to lead as well. Not easy.

Then something _completely_ different. Reggaeton. How to describe it? Music kind of Spanish, with rap? Dancing involved isolated movements - so the hips, not the chest as well. Or vice versa. Quite a bit of grinding ;), a lot of shaking it out and powerful arm movements. The teacher had a great sense of humour and got half the class to do a dance off with the other half at the end.

MF - reminded me again of your musings on the similarities between ballroom dancing and D/s :D I do love being led around the dance floor.

Ah, yes! I must dig out that writing, and possibly post it in othe "Meet Mr and Mrs MF" thread. :)

Mrs MF and I had a great play session at a dungeon-based play munch on Wednesday evening, although I was brought down to earth with a bump (or, rather, two bumps). Check it out at the link below:

Blatant plug for latest entry in "Meet Mr and Mrs MF" thread :D

Oh gosh! :eek::cattail:
How is the head now?
And neck?

I went to an age players munch for the first time on Friday. It was such fun chatting to the littles. And they offered me skittles to eat :) But a lot had to leave at 9pm. Bedtime maybe?

Bedtime maybe?

Tea-spew. :D
Whether intentionally funny or not (sorry but it amused me), I've never actually considered enforced bedtimes as a component of age-play (which actually makes perfect sense now I've thought about it). Huh. Food for thought indeed. I might pop off and research....

I definitely met at least one who loved the domestic discipline that the relationship provided, which included strict bed times. I guess with everything kinky, some will love that, others really won't! To me, it has a small bit of appeal, especially if it involved being tucked in

Absolutely! I firmly believe that we take a little of what we like, ignore what we don't and create our own relationships. We define ourselves. However, I'd be lying if I said there wasn't some appeal for me, too. I'm not one for labels as such, but there are elements of domestic discipline and age playing that tick all the boxes for me. (Including being tucked in)

G and I have routines, more imposed by other aspect of life but certainly plays into a little bit of age play, these include bed time routines. And after our bath he often puts my body cream on me etc. It's loving and caring: that it's also taking care of a need of his to nurture and an appeal of mine to 'be littled' by him has relatively recently been acknowledged. The baby powder might have made it more obvious, lol.

Last night after our bath and my moisturiser, I was tucked in and asleep with in minutes, despite that G had done so much to take care of me throughout a long day out. The very nature of our relationship; that I can relax and know that he will take care of us ( me and the animals) is stamens to th strength of trust I have for him. He....seems to like doing it. I suppose it's like I feel about the pets, or how I feel about the chores I do for him....a manifestation of love.

Elle that's just lovely. Thankyou for sharing. :rose:
