A bit of advice: If you're not used to codeine- or x-codone based painkillers, take the minimum dosages that will alleviate the pain to a tolerable level. Excessive dosages have an unfortunate side effect that doctors seldom mention, especially for people who haven't developed a tolerance for them: constipation.

It's warm already outside but I am sat in the Prof's house and he has his electric fire on full blast. I am absolutely sweltering.

Need to see if I can adjust the switches so it looks like it is running but isn't pumping as much heat out.

Afternoon all. Hope we are all having a good weekend.

Tested the hip today with a 5k run and all was well - that was a relief because I've been pining for a run for a few days now.

Went to a wedding reception last night and spent the evening with my neighbour's 4 year old grandson on my lap whilst he played with my iPad. He's albino so his eyesight isn't great - didnt stop him attempting every game I have on there

And I have spent the day clearing old paper and this evening with a little fire in the back yard getting rid of it all.

I am now, like a kipper, lightly smoked!

Nearly 40 years ago, we had the NASL (North American Soccer League), which got in lots of trouble with FIFA for moving the offsides line from midfield (~50 meters) to 35 yards from the end line and slightly (about 5%) increasing the size of the penalty box. My local team was the Tampa Bay Rowdies, and one of our all-time favorite players was Sir Rodney Marsh, who was an artiste at taking the dive...

In this world sometimes hard not to become a total shut in. So your right have to push and get back out there or set up sand bags around the front door.

Glad your getting your son back and hopefully he had fun in the clock land. My brother went to Belgium last week got me some hand made diabetic chocolates they are amazing.
