Do you think we've actually had summer already? You know, that two days of sunshine a couple of weeks ago?

Gods I hope not we have to get a bit more summer than that. Think weather just sucks because of its half term and bank holiday weather holding on. With luck will pick up soon on the plus side gives me more opportunity to wear my leather trench coat for little while longer.

Well, the rain has let up here but it's absolutely freezing. I kept waking up during the night because I was cold

Let's hope it cheers up for the weekend. Not that it would help me really, because I'm in the studio Saturday and Sunday.

But at least it's Friday - hope we all have a good day.

Well as soon as posted that we got a few hours of sun so got 2 suggestions move south or bitch at the gods and see if that helps. Tho if you move south you have to put up with proximity to more of the idiots who are running the country into the ground. Life is so full of trade offs.
That said it's back to a winters day out there

I understand your accent, there are only certain areas of Glasgow and Newcastle that I have trouble deciphering

Sheesh, is it Monday already? What happened to Sunday? Saturday was all uphill all the way for me. Sliced my finger open while cutting up some celery. Had to have a brand spanking new knife so it nearly cut through the nail with very little effort.


Didn't need stitches so I'm probably painting this up worse than it was.

I used to run all the time. I was even practicing for an ironman contest at one point, but then life and chaos got in the way. Don't know if it's old age or the frostbite I got a couple years ago, but I can't be on my feet for lengthy periods anymore. Thoughts on this Lally?

Hope everyone's weekend was better than mine!

LWulf, if you have pains in your feet, it sounds like a circulation problem? Might be worthwhile getting it checked out if it's restricting your movement, because inertia will only increase the problem

Thanks Lally for trying but it's odd. I went to see a doctor about that problem and forgot I had even visited him up to now.
That's ...uncomfortably disturbing. Maybe just a "senior moment."

Yes it was a circulation problem and he suggested how to treat it. Thanks again for trying.

Woke up with a woolly head and sore throat this morning - this warm, damp weather is breeding too many little bugs

No ill effects after yesterday's run though, so I've been showing my race medal to the staff this morning to prove that I did do it and that, yes, they do have to hand over their sponsor money!!
