Morning campers!! Mad fog on the way in this morning, but at least the traffic was being sensible and driving to the conditions (for once!). Sun's burning it off nicely at the moment though

Was off monday getting the car sorted (just tyres left to do now), so spent yesterday catching up on everything. Should have more time today.

Gianbattista, I do agree, the heelies look fun, but I don't think they go up to our sizes Would love to skateboard again though, but it doesn't seem to be socially acceptable at my age. However, I must confess to having the occasional ride down the driveway on my nephew's board when there's nobody looking

Morning all

Very thick fog here still so hopefully it will lift at some time soon.

Had the day off work yesterday for our wedding anniversary but I had a doctor's appointment first thing. It seemed more sensible to walk rather than drive while I had the luxury of time, but I decided to take a shortcut through a housing estate instead of walking the car route.

Bad mistake. I got completely lost because all the roads and houses looked identical, and then when I asked the way, the guy sent me in completely the wrong direction, so that five minutes before my appointment I was almost back home again. It was like one of those awful nightmares....

Anyway, after a panic, I rang ahead, explained I was an idiot who was going to be late and it all worked out ok in the end. More blood tests ahead though...

Hoping for a less stressful day today!

It's a beautiful day here in Bristol again, although it's a bit chilly. What about yesterday though, it was like Summer had rolled into town!

We started today with horrible cold damp fog, and now I've had to shut the blinds in my office because the sun is so bright! I'm hoping when I go out later that it's as warm as it looks

The question of whether I'd remain upright and without broken limbs however remains more likely in the negative. Unless I have someone either side of me like training wheels .

This would be me too I never even had roller skates as a kid, and my sense of balance is totally lacking. I'd be a danger to myself and everyone else around me

Freezing!!! My car was frozen over this morning and although the sun is shining, it's still very cold here

Went for a blood test this morning - good job I'm not soft because she's made a right mess of my arm...

Ouch! I hate it when they do that, it doesn't take much to do a good job of it. I don't usually mark easily, but the last time I went, it took ages for the mess to fade.

Sunny here but the cloud cover isn't too bad. My staff have made a pinhole telescoe thing so I'm hoping we'll all be able to have a look at the eclipse in around an hour's time

It's a pity Ed doesn't still work here, for the last one, he rigged up a contraption of mirrors and pinhole box, and got it projected on the office wall As for the animals, I'm sure they're aware of something; I went out a few mins ago, and I'm not sure if it's just because I know, but the atmosphere does feel 'different' somehow.

Lally, I'm aching this morning after getting home early and spending an hour or so playing chasing each other around the garden, bouncing on the trampoline, hiding in the tents, and jumping up and down on daddy!! Wouldn't trade days like that for the world

No firm plans for the weekend yet, just playing it by ear.

The eclipse is well underway here - we've all had a look through the viewer and it's fascinating.

However, my staff are threatening pagan rituals later involving them stripping off and dancing round a fire.......I think I'll stay in my office for that one...

Quite dusky-ish and strangely quiet here at the moment, Got a good view though, we’ve got a fair bit of cloud cover, so it’s filtering it nicely. One of the girls on reception is really buzzing over it all, she's too young to remember the last one, and is totally fascinated.
