Hello elle as well, nice to meet you both! ☺ I would have quoted you but I haven't worked out multiple quotes in one reply yet!
Anyone else have a breathtaking thunderstorm through the night? It was furious and stunning both here.
Have a good evening don't do anything I wouldn't, which gives you great scope. lol

Hmm, I know that feeling, I agreed to go down to Derby on a job for 6 weeks. 2 1/2 years later.... That was a couple of years back now, not been roped into anything that daft since.
My last address in London was in nw London, zone two. Far easier than driving to a London supermarket for a monthly stock up of basics often was slipping out to the m1 and nipping up to Watford. The m1 felt like a blessing then! Its proportional, fifty feels great compared to a crawl through central London day times.![]()
The great thing about living relatively centrally is that everywhere is walkable if you don't mind a longish walk. Because I couldn't always do that I did often take alternative routes to 'my' over loaded tube then get a not crowded bus back in above ground that made more sense than packing in the more direct tube line. G refuses to use public transport for commuting and does it all on foot. He lives with in the same district as he works during the week. Sadly it still means crossing Town for commute to home.
Oh god derby, I feel your pain my friend. I hate the m1, twice every day 50mph if your lucky :-(

Might be doing a lot of trudging come Thursday if the tube strike goes ahead.
