The NEW UK Kink Thread

Afternoon everyone, thank you for the welcome!
On my lunch break after a hectic morning, I totally agree Friday's should finish at 3.
How is everyone's day going?

Things quietened down a bit here, so I'm bailing out at 2:45 today, since it can't get any worse before monday. Can it???

Oh I hate Fridays like that!!! One of the worst I ever got landed with was an emergency dash from Preston to Derby at 1:30pm on a Friday because a job had gone badly wrong. Ended up getting home at 11:45pm :( Hope your day doesn't end up that bad.

Oh gosh yes me too! I've encountered the A59 a bit over the last few months and I can imagine a Friday not the best time to be traveling along it.
I just have to brave the tunnel later and that can be bad enough!!
Hope your day goes well :)

A59 Preston is awful - I used to work in the city centre! The problem is the river and the railway, plus the valley and a distinct lack of bridges!! You can't beat the traffic, no matter which way you go :(

I hope your afternoon goes well - I'm doing mundane tasks I've been putting off, which are easier than starting something heavy.

Sounds like a grand afternoon, mundane sounds good right now!
Back to work for me, I've dallied longer than I should, let's hope nothing breaks down in the tunnel tonight, there is only so long I can look at the Mersey for without being tempted to swim for home and leave the car lol.

Luckily, I don't live in Preston, just work up here. I live a bit further south, a lot closer to the Mersey actually. Going to head off about now, take care all, and I might get on over the weekend, if I get chance.

Haha! I've only been through it occasionally, but I feel your pain if you get stuck behind a breakdown!

Have a good afternoon

Had a long lunch with an old friend - was rather hard to get back to working after that. Especially with this gorgeous weather.

And yey!! The weekend is here - well, almost :D

Evening all, home alone babysitting the little fella tonight, thought I'd see what mischief I can get up to :D

First week back at work for me this week after several weeks off to recover from a huge life event. Will try to ease back into it and not be freaked out by the anticipated 500 emails waiting for me!!

Thank you. I am fortunate to have a sympathetic boss who is also fiercely protective of her team.

Still will take a while to regain my robustness. So all support appreciated.

xx

Sometimes I am glad I have cats lol, independent and sleep a large section of the day.

Busy couple of weeks ahead, it's the end of term, Lil boy will be leaving his junior school then spending the rest of his school life in special school. He is very tired, he was sent home on Friday because he couldn't stay awake. Time for a rest.

In the not too distant future for me; Birmingham, Brighton PRIDE, London, Birmingham again, Brighton(regular market) it's a very busy month ahead!

Morning all

Not much to report here just another week though this weekend coming I'm going to be at the Air Tattoo with my dad for our usual Father / Son weekend together. Hope the weather picks up a bit for that. Clear skies (or high cloud) but not to warm is what I'd prefer. Most years i come back either drenched or so sunburned I can peal the skin off... terribly attractive.

I brushed my cat for the first time in a week on Saturday, the amount of fur generated was impressive. did it again on sunday and got almost as much again. They may be independent but mine is also loud and capable of generating almost inconceivable amounts of shed fur!

Is that the RIAT? (I seem to think it's about this time of year) If so, I'm very jealous.

I shall be at an air show in September with my mum for our annual outing and agree it's either sunburn or soaked!!

Also, I know where you're coming from about cats and fur, especially at this time of the year - must be due to the heat.

Survived my first day back. Probably partly as a lot of folk don't know I'm back. Got to go into the office tomorrow which will be harder. But do-able. Wish I could take a cat with me, they are so de-stressing :)

Lol! I heard there are now organisations that act as a bridge between dog owners and those that just want to have a dog visit sometimes. Like maybe someone who works during the day can then have their dog looked after by an elderly person who loves the company. I knew one organisation that did this and their office always had one or more terribly cute dogs running around! Lovely :)
