Intermittent but yes Fell asleep in front of the fire again, but the night shift rang with a query so I got woken up to deal with that. Then sleep again in bed, then awake again...

Did you have a good drive down?

Yeah, roads were clear as they always are at 3am now on a train out to the west of the city heading to site 1 of 3

Head doctor this morning, it's helping, I am coping with stuff better and some of the blocks are lifting.

Got a funny look from hubs for chatting to Lally at 1am, well if I can't sleep, I will chat!!
Hope you managed some sleep after. I actually slept through for once.

M is dropping, getting a bit worried, want to drive down to give him some support bloody long distance sucks!

Busy day for me, meetings and editing.
The meetings are an irritation, I have only 15 hrs a week to fit my job in, and these distract from it

It's not doing. I'm sleeping really badly and I'm so tired. So apologies for any grumpiness and unreasonable behaviour on my part.

I'm at a meeting now that my customer asked me to attend. She gave me the date a week ago, but has waited until I actually arrive before starting to edit the documents she wants me to print, including calling her other colleagues in to discuss the changes.

The fragile hold I have on my temper is disappearing by the minute.... I have a mountain of work to get through when I return and another meeting later today 30 miles away where the customer can only see me at 5 pm. It's going to be another very long day...

Lally, you are not grumping at us, I don't get people who aren't prepared (says she whose editing was rather haphazard)
We are here to vent to, even at 1am heaven knows you need a break from the stress.

Fell asleep last night in front of the fire again, then wandered up to bed whilst the football was on. Had a pretty good sleep so feel much better today.

Got a busy day ahead, a few problems to overcome which may get a bit tricky at times, but should be okay.

Managed to get the two main Christmas presents for the kids yesterday, so that's another weight off my mind!

Very emotionally heavy day today. Sometimes you have to try your best for your client in an impossible situation. It made me very sad and I feel quite tired now.

Grim start for me this morning - night shift had major problems so we're not where we need to be for today's deliveries, ever a challenge.

Got the Christmas tree last night though, so when I tiptoed downstairs in the dark as usual this morning, I was greeted with that unique pine smell

Pine smell in my house would just mean the cats have knocked over some random bottle of cleaning products

Hi honey I'm home

Lovely evening, well, the club was pretty boring, no atmosphere, so we ended up spending most of the night in the pool and the hot tub, which M needed. I have never felt anyone's back quite so badly knotted it feels like walnuts under his skin I have asked him to go see an osteopath, I can usually sort most people's back problems, but this is the worst I have ever seen.
We did get some impact play in, the new floggers are lots of fun.

Spent the day tackling the housework, of which there is masses. Living in a hard water area, chipping limescale off the taps was a big job!
It's looking a bit better, not perfect, it's been neglected a long time whilst my head has not been in a good place.
At least it will be okish to decorate for Xmas now.

Going to cook a roast in a while
M is very quiet, he is writing the eulogy today, this week is going to be very hard on him.

Good morning all - hope we had good weekends

Starting my day off with giving one of my staff a roasting - she phoned in sick on Friday and then posted on Facebook that she was at the salon, having a sunbed session.... Perhaps she thought her 'mates' at work wouldn't rat on her

Going to be off on Thursday/Friday, so only a short week for me for once.
