By the end of the day in the heat of the place it had conglomerated into a single piece but yes, I think everyone still had everything in place when we left!

Morning all, sounds like BBB went well Must try to figure a way to get to one of those myself one day. Definitely sounds like I missed out on the brittle!!

Not too bad a weekend here, we’ve got a new tv (telly dear, telly!) so I’ve put the old one on the dining room wall for the little fella to play his games and watch dvd’s on and give him a space of his own, moved the dining table into the wasted space in the living room, and binned all the toy boxes and junk into the dining room to leave a (relatively) adult space. Saturday went and got some beanbags for the newly created playroom/den, and got some shelving up, so just need to do some rearranging of all the cables, and we’re done. Sunday I finally joined the latest trend on here, and went and got a new mattress since the “roll-apart” on the old one had reached the point where any attempted show of affection needed a team of Sherpas!! (Not that I have anything against including a team of Sherpas in being affectionate, you understand ) Interestingly, it was weird trying to go to sleep without the usual cacophony of “BOING!! TWANG!! PING!!” every time you move.

Hi Elle,

It was really lovely to finally meet you and G yesterday, and the brittle is completely lush.
Took ages to get home, had to drop Master off in Portsmouth before getting back to London.
The back is much better. I don't know what it is about that place, but I get sciatica every time I go! The diclofenec worked a treat and I will probably trundle along to my osteopath for a crunch before too much longer, although your therapist sounds intriguing!
My massage therapist is a sadistic Dom... I get a lot of pain from him!

How did you enjoy the market? I hope you felt comfortable.

Been quite quiet at work as lots of people on holidays. Good for catching up. Went to yet another vanilla event organised by kinksters last night and met some lovely people. One day I hope to catch up with some of you guys!!

I had been looking forward to a lovely few weeks coming up, a could of friends coming for weekends and the house to myself for a bit more but I had a call this week saying a family member wants to stay for ten days.

I'm not sure I will cope and I am a bit cross as I sort of feel its been a leeeeetle it masterminded around me. .

If I say no then it will create both a lot of bad feeling and potential for a lot of 'I told you so's but if I say yes ( or rather just fail to say no) I might commit murder. .

Especially if my ip is as unreliable as it has been.

Oh Elle, that sounds like a difficult situation! I hope you find a way through it all (without murdering anyone).

Still fairly quiet at work. Slightly nervous the floodgates will open when folk return from holidays in September.

Went to the dentist But they were very nice and sent me away with pills to kill off a gum infection. Apparently my wisdom tooth itself is very healthy. It just can't make up it's mind whether to really push on through.

Oh and of course I need another appointment for a full check up. And another appointment to see the hygenist. Not keen but actually think this dentist is sound (unlike a string of rather dodgy characters seen over recent years) so on the theory that prevention is better than cure I have dutifully booked them in. Big hole in my pocket, but happy teeth is pretty important; not like I have a spare set lying around...

Just a quick note to acknowledge my first face-to-face meeting with a Litster yesterday: the wonderful Daisy!

I'll risk embarrassing Daisy a little by singing her praises (though fortunately not literally!). She's a delightful lady and a great source of caring advice; my wife and I were very taken with her. We're also very happy with the custom flogger that Daisy helped us to select and purchase from her, which is going to see some significant action over the next few weeks.

That is really good. I will encourage Master to invest in one of Daisy's floggers; they get such good reviews!

Had such a lovely weekend with Master . We did buy a small flogger just to try... and definitely can already see we will want something with more bite fairly soon

It was my first ever visit to a shop that sells sex toys, fabulous lingerie and the like . Master with me made it much easier. And the shop assistants were lovely, even though they just looked confused when Master enquired whether they stocked any bustiers.

Once we explained, turned out they only had one corset in stock. Apparently it is a seasonal item Still, went with it and I discovered I really like it. Feels like a tight hug, even if a little restricting.

This week I have 2 days in London smack dab in the middle of the tube strike. And on Wednesday, just to make things even more frustrating, I'm meeting my sub for the first time on Wednesday in Central London just as the strike gets rolling and is causing me problems to get to her!

Oh, this is not my first time dealing with it, after 12+ years I've got a rough idea of the scale of things. The problem is my day's are packed as it is with no walking time allowed by the schedule

Hopefully it'll be fine.... Hopefully they will be cancelled!

There's also always buses. overland, river shuttle... I'll be fine

My bosses / clients do not seam to think so. thankfully, a lot of the actual site staff are quite good about it and if i turn up a bit late and leave a bit early to compensate for delays most of them are fine about it.

I see that the strikes have been postponed, so that should help us all this week.

Still annoying as I had to plan my week anticipating strikes... and as they are just postponed, now have to plan around the new strike dates. Humph.
