YayWelp, after using my time better in the last 2 contests, I'm back to riding that last-minute wave to the very end.
My newest story, "An Arrow in the Hand" has been submitted at just under 14k words. Gotta say, I was close to throwing in the towel once or twice.

You brought a haiku to a limerick fight.Winter night, her room,
a husband sleeps most consumed...

Good luck!As kindly suggested to me yesterday, here’s a link to my story submission for the Vday contest, When the Cat’s Away
It’s the first time I’ve submitted for a contest and also the first time I’ve written a trans character, so I’ll be interested to see how this one’s received!
Good luck!
Holy mother. I thought I was indulgent with 3k sex scenes...Snuck in just under the wire with a second story. At ~36k words, it's the longest single-chapter thing I've written. The first story I published here was roughly 11,000 words; that's the same length as the primary sex scene in this piece. It was a difficult piece to write, structurally, conceptually, emotionally. We'll see wot happens.

Imagine if foreplay could last an entire year....
Story is set to go up tomorrow. My perfect streak goes into double digits. Guess this is the other advantage to contest entries; getting fast-tracked through the system.
I hope everyone else panic-writing with <5 hours to go has such luck.
Perfect streak of what? Contest entries? Stories without rejections, or glitches, or both? If it's contest entries, congratulations. If one of the latter, good for you, but I'm pretty sure it's just luck. I've never had an unreasonable "stuck in pending" delay and only two rejections, both easily fixed.Story is set to go up tomorrow. My perfect streak goes into double digits. They were doing the dirty by night and by day
But she was multi-tasking,
and he couldn't help asking,
"stop writing! Please put the phone away."
Which she most certainly isn’timplying Em is thicc.
Oh, ok, sexting while having sex and writing the novel on the phone. I guess that's what a bifold screen is for. Please give @anthrodisiac more erotica fuel on his ideas about Emily and I sexting.
...and that gave me a plot bunny of a wife blowing her husband while sexting with a t-girl, GOD DAMNIT!
E: the phone autocorrected wife to wide, implying Em is thicc.
Which she most certainly isn’t

This is the only reason I exist, to seed the universe with further plot bunnies. I am the P-Bun Progenitor. Worship and/or fear and/or hate me....and that gave me a plot bunny of a wife blowing her husband while sexting with a t-girl, GOD DAMNIT!
