Kaname Chidori is a schoolgirl who seems to have been experimented on by her father (who has disappeared). She's now under the protection of a soldier who is a former religious fighter for a cult in Afghanistan (though they changed the country of his origin, making one up, for the US version because of the events of 9-11). Suffice it to say he gets put through a LOT of pain at his charge's hands. Things like getting third base HURLED at his retreating head with enough force to smash his face into the ground, or hit with a giant harisen...stuff like that. Really funny anime, actually. I suggest you watch it.
Raven, sweetie, dear... I don't watch anime.

You know....if you gave it half a chance, you might enjoy some of them. They do have good story and characters....some of the time.

*sigh* I know.. I think half the reason I can't get into them? This is going to sound totally stupid I know, but they way most of them are drawn. All points and angles. I find rounded things pleasant to look at. A friend of mine has been expounding on Bleach. He's going to get me to read it yet, I know.
Try something simple and early. Astro Boy, or Lupin the III, or maybe some stuff from the seventies. Speed Racer, Mobile Suit Gundam, and so on.
*TWITCH*

It is the first time he has ventured to this place since his most recent return.
He goes to her first, for she is the reason he has come. He does not known if her instincts had already cued her to what he'd done.
He walked up and layed a hand on her shoulder, "Cait... Tag. I... I hope you like it." is all he said, a slight smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
Then and only then does he look up to greet the others, "Hey everyone... its been a while."

He hugged her back, "Follow the new edition to my sig well the one you'll recognize... there's a surprise for you." He held her close glad for the physical touch. In some ways he'd been doing better of late, but he was glad for the affection, something he'd been lacking lately. What? Huh? Oh Damnit Glad... what have you done to me now? *she grinned and wrapped him in a big hug* Good to see you, Dear
Not as good as I once envisioned it but... I decided to settle for ok since I will never achieve perfect." he bows slightly. "That's it my friends, I'm coming out of retirement, or going to try to..."GLAD! You did it. *grins widely*
Hey Fr33k, how are you doing?"Hey Glad. *waves and wanders over to the bar for a drink*
Hey Fr33k, how are you doing?"
*Wanders back with a whiskey on the rocks, three ice cubes* I'm doing alright.
Sorry I can't stay, but I have to be up early tomorrow everyone...
He hugs Cait again and waves to fr33k and Dragon.
Night everyone!
sneaks in behind fr33k and steals a sip of his drink before disappearing and reappearing at the next table
