*Eyes the level of his drink, noting the minute difference. His sight falls on zy afterward, a smirk on his face*

Hello dear. I didn't know you liked whiskey as well....

tries hard to not to cough as she nods s-s-sure.... starts coughing hard as she turns red in the face

Arriving at the Outlook. I walk inside the building and head for a comfortable couch where I can relax.

*Wandering alone now, nowhere else to go at the moment, I find my way to the beach near the Outlook. This place is as familiar to me as any. Many nights I've spent here, near the peaceful solace of the waves lapping the shore. I seek that solace again as I consider my future options.

Several friends have offered me a place with them, either temporarily or for as long as I wish. It is so good to know that I have such friends, and would find welcome in their places. Perhaps I will take them up on their offers, at least until I can find my way to a place of my own.

Sitting down on the sand, I contemplate my attire. I might be more welcome if I dressed in decent clothing, although some wouldn't mind my nudity either. Still, that was for Her; Her request. Perhaps it is time to move on towards becoming my own person again. I hold no ill feelings for my former Mistress, but we have different paths ahead of us now. Perhaps someday we will make a peace between us. I'd like that. Until then, I'll make my own way.

I gaze out at the setting sun as it dips into the ocean waves, painting the sky in a magnificent palette of colors.*

*The sun has set, the night descends upon the shoreline like a lover, transforming the landscape into a moonlit wonderland. The silvery light glints off of individual grains of sand, reflecting back like thousands of little stars. It's a warm night, and the sand reflects the sun's warmth into my body as I curl up, wrapping my arms around myself, staring at the low silvery orb as it rises slowly over the ocean waves. My eyelids grow heavy, thoughts drifting into dreams to come.*

Wonders into the outlook, looking around, unsure as to what I find.... exploring the labyrinth of rooms, the bat area, the coffee area..

Seeing a few groups of people - mostly females as i wander over to the counter and ask for a black coffee, and finds a leather chair and table in a corner facing the beach...

As the coffee arrives, I smile politely at the barista girl, thanking her and sips the coffee watching the room.....

Walks slowly into the Outlook, not being here in sometime, she smiles at the people who are here, curling up on a near by couch.

*Waking up on the beach after shivering half the night away in a tight fetal ball is not the choicest of ways to start the day. You find you have sand in places that should never have sand. And I'm not interested in making a damn pearl in that particular clam. Yeah, yeah, I know. Oysters make pearls, not clams. Well, I've never heard that particular part of the anatomy referred to as an oyster. Anyhow, trust me on this, you don't want to wake up that way.

It seemed so nice last night. The sand had soaked up the sun's warmth all day and was giving it back when I lay down on the beach. It hadn't lasted half the night. And the ocean breezes were cool around sundown, but downright chilly after full dark, even for this time of year.

I stretched the kinks out of stiff joints and shivered again as I brushed the sand off as best I could. Longingly I gazed towards the ocean waves, considering a quick dip to rinse off. But no, I was too cold. Turning my steps instead to the Outlook patio, I trudged wearily up the steps.

A long hot shower in one of the guest rooms, a quick raid on the lost and found box for some temporary clothing to wear, and the determination to begin looking for a place of my own had me setting out upon the day. *

He came to her meeting her on the deck. "My dear friend." was all he said, "I... I've missed you. I know I've not been here lately, but it would please me if I could spend a little time with you?" He asked softly sliding his arms around her.

*Spotting a friendly face, a welcome friend, I move quickly and easily into his embrace, resting my head on his shoulder, just holding on.*

I missed you. I'm glad you're here.

"I've missed you too. I know we spoke via IM yesterday, but Its been a while since I've made it into the lounge." I say softly holding her close, stroking the long blonde hair holding her close. A hand finding one of hers, twining with it enjoying the touch.

I've decided to quest for a home of my own. I don't know where this will lead me, or what kind of home it will be. Hopefully I won't end up in a van down by the river.

*Taking his hand in mine as we walk towards the beach.*

"I have long considered making my own home here." I say softly. an elven sanctuary of sorts... I have also considered making a home with you with seperate sub rooms or threads for us to play in but share a common area." I say as I walk with her.

Maybe it is time we did then. How do you feel about the deep forest? I was thinking I'd see if Cait could put me up for the night, since her mansion is near here. Then I'm planning on heading for the woods. I understand the Wolf-kin live there, and Luna has a new home. Maybe I'll visit her.

*Slipping an arm around his waist as we walk and converse, two friends taking solace in each other's company.*

"I will certainly put some thought to it, but yes the forest sounds nice, near a stream, perhaps." I say softly sliding my arm around her shoulders as I walk with her.

"I am sure that Cait would let you stay with her as long as you needed. She has even told me I am welcome there." I say softly.

I love the water, so a stream, lake or waterfall is a necessity. Hey, maybe I could live under a bridge! Oh wait, that's trolls, not elves. :D

"You're not ugly enough to live under a bridge." he says laughing poking her in the ribs.

*Laughing* :D

Well, uh, thanks.....I think.

*We make our way slowly along the shore, through the small woods along the shoreline, and eventually end up on the estate grounds of Cait's Mansion.*

"You are quite beautiful, and you know that." I say softly.

(you moving to that thread?)

*Blushing, eyes downcast, a smile curving my lips, I lean my head on his shoulder, pausing in our walk to turn to face him, pulling him into a hug and kissing him, whispering,

"I don't know what to say to that. Thank you. It looks like we've come quite a way. Those bushes over there are the far edge of Cait's garden maze. Beyond that is the pool and then her back patio. Do you think she'd mind that we come in the back way?"

(Yes)

Miranda continues to sip her coffee, with her net-book on the table, reading through the threads, the stories the abundance of erotica that i s literotica..

Wandering along the beach, dressed in a minuscule bikini, as I am never sure who may be on the beach and some people aren't fans of public nudity. Eventually, I make my way to the rocks, where I always sit and think. I can see lights on at the Outlook proper, but no one is by the shore line, so I strip and stash the tiny pieces of fabric.

No real thought, not now. Just steady steps that lead me into the cool silken embrace of the sea. I dive...and am gone.

*Stealthy night mist flows along the sands, not in a random way but with intention...following a scent. Over sand to sheltering rocks where the familiar scent lingers strongest.

Mist settles into ridges and crevices and for a moment ice blue eyes seem to glow from pale features, gazing out to sea...*

I come up for air, far from shore. Flipping lazily to my back, I float in coolness, staring up at the star filled sky. Eventually, I turn and dive, heading for shore. I need to dry off and then maybe, head for home. It is late and I....I am in need of quiet.

By the rocks, I sense a presence...the scent of dark vanilla and tree filled warmth. I see nothing, no one...but there is an odd mist....Reaching for my bikini, I speak...low, quiet...

Muse oh Muse....come out to play....

*cool fingers catch a stray drop of sea water as it trickles down Luna's spine. Warm lips brush against her ear*

I just wanted to see you...watch you for a moment...
