Well I finished my A.I.R. Earth Day contest story just in time last night (oh it’s also an entry in the LITEROTICA one too). I got it in just seconds before midnight. I just hope they don’t reject this one.

I entered the story for a few reasons:
One, under my contract I do have some contest submission requirements...
Two, I hadn’t submitted any stories to the site this year and I felt obligated to the readers who’ve supported me all these years...
Three, I had to get this story out of the way so I could get back to work on three or four others...
And finally, given all the other MOST FAVORITES who’ve made an effort to contribute this time I felt an obligation to them...
But what a story! The bloody thing just didn’t want to end. I had about twelve thousand words of the beginning and three thousand of the end done when I sat down yesterday afternoon. But to tie them together I figured I’d need another six or seven thousand words. Which was impossible in the time remaining. So I scrapped the three thousand of the end and added a couple of thousand to the beginning and put it to bed.
The stupid story was originally only meant to be about 2 LIT pages anyway (7000 words) and here it was twice that! Almost 20 little ralphis stories long!
Then when I submitted it the damn thing leaked over onto a fifth page. And the only thing on the fifth page were the words THE END and a plea for votes. And I had no time to adjust it! Which was a piss off.
But it’s a huge relief to get the voices of the two heroines of the story out of my head. They’ve been driving me crazy for over two weeks. They turned out completely different than I’d imagined and planned them. They did things and said things that were completely contrary to the original story plan. Yak, yak, yak! On the beach, in the gym, even while I was eating dinner. I just couldn’t shut them up.
The even woke me up last night after I’d put the story (and myself) to bed. Well my little darlings - you’re history now!

scouries makes up his own list of winners using stories he steals from the REAL Literotica contests. Scouries just copies the list from THE REAL CONTEST, minus the people he doesn't like. He uses his fudge factor, known only to him, and drops the categories he doesn't like. Instant winners. They don't really win anything since it's a fake contest held only in scouries mind. There are no real reader involved, just scouries.

A couple of weeks ago I started reading this wonderful thread from the start – something I hadn’t done in years. When I came to post #255 I had to laugh – especially when I clicked open the above link she provided.
Although this wasn’t the nicest post ever made by an AHer it certainly predated our later arguments that eventually degenerated into true ugliness a couple of years later. This post was made simply to pull my chain a little bit.
The problem with her post is that when I clicked open the link it showed the current list and not the list as it was back then. Back then big sister was either #1 or #2 on the list and I was way behind sucking the proverbially hind tit. Today if you click open that same link I’m on top of her and the post makes no sense.
Yes, today I passed her! Of course I’m smart enough to know that the tables could be turned any day. So instead of just providing the link I’m also going to save for posterity the LITEROTICA FAVORITE AUTHORS list as it appeared today, April 8th 2011.

Some days you just get pleasant surprises. I did this morning when I went to my submission page to check out how my new story was doing. I always wait 48 hours before I check the numbers.
As I scrolled down I came across the figures from a 2007 story. And look what I found! 2000 VOTES! Which is pretty rare (even for me). So I want to thank the kind person who took the time to vote for my story last night and in doing so pushed it into Hall of Fame category.

FYI here are the figures after 48 hours for my latest story and official A.I.R. Earth Day Contest entry (as well as LITEROTICA contest entry). Very good figures but not spectacular is how I’d sum them up. Good vote and comment totals, a good rating but less than spectacular sales. This bloody economy is even hurting LITEROTICA’S sales. The Canadian and Indian markets are the only two that seem to be holding their own.

I’d like to thank every single one of you. Besides the ROYALTY checks nothing matters more to me than knowing that I’ve given a good read to a member of the vast LITEROTICA audience. You guys are great!

Few can even see it, as they've discovered that he's not worth the time required to scroll past, or the eye-strain from his giant neon look-at-me lettering, and that number grows larger with every post he makes. You're nothing more than a footnote on Lit that reads "this user is on your ignore list", scouries.
