I haven't gotten into an FF game since FF2 on the SNES. 7 was really good, and 10 was.....not horrible, but I prefer western RPGs.

I've always preferred JRPGs. Just felt like they commit more to the plot. Surprised coming from a writer such as yourself, that you favor westerns. To each their own, huh?

Wow, see I would argue just the opposite about JRPGs compared to Western RPGS. Every JRPG has the same story almost down to what order you meet the stereotypical characters. On the other hand, Western RPGs allow for more variance in game play and as such a wider variety of story possibilities. The western RPG actually uses the medium of the video game to a fuller extent in crafting its narrative. The JRPG tries to be an interactive book or movie.

Heh, interesting. I'd easily agree about less redundant gameplay in Westerns. JRPGs typically use a similar mold for gameplay. I just find that typically, in Westerns, they're lacking a depth in plot. Ah welll Agree to disagree, perhaps.

I didn't wanna post it in either of their threads, because I don't wanna be a buzzkill, but one thing that really grates on my nerves:

People that post all over the ladies' threads trying to goad them into doing videos, collaborations, audios, etc. etc.

They don't seem to understand the concept... These gorgeous, young, sexual women are posting these pictures, for both their own pleasure and satisfaction, as well as ours. To come here and think with their dicks essentially say "Hey, that's not good enough" and goad, push, coerce for more, is so obnoxiously rude. Drives me bonkers. I count myself lucky enough to have a conversation, albeit a pixellated interwebz one with a girl as wonderfully attractive (Not to mention smarts and personality to match) as those two, much less see the fantastic pictures they share with us.

Gonna repeat what Constantine has said on several occasions: Never be anyone but who you are. You're only cheating yourself. You'll find friends, family, and lovers will appreciate you a lot more when you are yourself. There are some that won't enjoy you, and some that will. Just take the good with the bad, roll with the punches. I'm running out of analogies here. You can't change who you are. You can restrain from doing certain things, or go out of your way to do things, but it won't change who you are.

Just relax, have fun, enjoy life, and most of all... Be yourself.

i know i'm not part of the crowd here, but i'd like to comment...imo gallantry and sophistication can be as much of a posture, with the exact same goal as less tactful approaches.

i don't know you so i'm not accusing you of this, rather i offer it as a general observation: threads here are replete with guys being 'grateful' and 'hands-off' and 'respectful,' and often the only discernible difference from the alleged jerks is that the former are better at wiping their chins.


i do agree that people can behave with class here...whatever that means in a place that's mostly about lust...but i think a silver tongue is too easily associated with being somehow a better person

Still, they should be treated with respect. Not as sex objects. I agree with him. They're lovely girls.

I would concur. Ultimately behavior is only as important as the motivations behind it; however, civilization is very little more than a posture itself, at least from a Hobbesian perspective, and in general we think of people who are civilized as "better" than people who are uncivilized, so while I agree with your observation, if we look at a larger context it can be argued that the entire basis of what makes one person better than another is purely subjective even on a much larger scale.

Agreed. There's certainly a fine line, and certainly you have the right to suspect or accuse of whatever you like. I don't fault anyone for being in lust, or in passion. It's the pressuring, the goading, the coercing, that bothers me. There are wonderfully beautiful women here who have the power to cause even the most silver of tongues to wag. I am bothered but a specific set that cross that "fine line" between "Lustful encouraging" to complete and utter asshattery. I could fish through threads and quote them, but you seem like an intelligent fellow, and I'm sure you can find the ones that I'm referring to.

As for belonging in this "crowd," anyone is welcome here. Especially those with a brain, as you seem to have.
