Things that made you swear today.

Waking up to find out that there are now TWO large bodies of water between my wife & elder son and the rest of the family. Yesterday, there was only one.

Further swearing was caused by the suspicions it might be up to a week before the waters come down enough to allow travel.

Anyone want some water? Or even some rain?

Aaaaaaah...not nice. I hope at least they're with others and you have some kind of contact or at least contact with someone that can assure you they're ok.

huge huggggggggs.

Reading this made me swear...send the rain this way...can always do with more snow round here... ;)

On a serious note though...hope they, and you, are ok...

Nasty weather that's gonna have me snowed in for at least a day (as it looks right now).

My boyfriend is out of town for a few more days, I'm raging fucking horny and none of my play partners are on. Fucking hell. Good thing I bought batteries...

They are safe with her parents in an part of the state that is not flooded.

But the swearing continued with the news that the count is now up to three separate places. But it could be worse, they could be in one of the numerous places actually flooded, which thankfully, they're not.

Not really swearing, but more of a *facepalm* moment.

Browsing the tv channels and hopping into "America's most smartest model"
I wish I was kidding...

Probably wasn't the bit that made you swear though

This is why people just shouldn't travel in Summer around here!

We're getting smashed again tomorrow darlin', s'posed to be the worst of all then >.> aren't we so fucking lucky?!

They should take dump trucks full of water to the desert, seriously!

 Just think, at the very least they're safe even if they are delayed in their return. They'll be back before you know it and giving you all new reasons to swear! :D

Just how close the house came to flooding; another inch or two of rain and I'd be out in the front hall with a mop. Guess I should still consider myself lucky, what with the floods the rest of the state's been getting.

Damn darl, heard Toowoomba got hit hard too, some poor woman even died so yeah, I'd say you were very lucky.

This is why I live in Ipswich... Oh my god!! I just discovered a good reason for living in Ipswich!! *DIES!!*

Brace yourself for tomorrow >.>

Here's hoping our stupid weather people are all wrong again *crosses fingers*

Half of Queensland has apparently been declared a disaster zone now...reminds me of 2009 when it was just the same AND my house got flooded...thank fuck for having moved!

Keep that mop handy, Shadow!!

An article telling how the girl in Arizona that was shot had 'big dreams' and wanted to help people.

She was 9 years old, it's a fucking travesty no matter what, if she hadn't had big dreams she wouldn't be mourned suddenly?

For a split second, the shower forgot its setting and I got one little spit of scalding water. I'm not sure if I swore or squealed...but it felt more like a swear occasion.

This is a sad, sad day :(

Although I must say, the fact that they have a show trying to find a "Smart" model doesn't help matters

It is actually possible, Pen, that there actually is a "smart" model out there somewhere.

Though something tells me that the show will be looking for her for some time.

my best friend isn't replying to my email and i want to smack Him up one side and down the other and start all over for the hell of it !!! Any other time i don't want His opinion and He gives it freely now that i want it ..nowhere to be found !!!

Once again being told he doesn't think I'm his.
Fucking hell.

Starting to feel the only guy in my life that gives a shit is my little guy.

I think it's eight people dead so far, four of them kids. You should see some of the photos and such that've been on the news or that I've found on Facebook; the centre of town had be under at least a metre and a half of water. The chemist's that mum works for ended up with about a metre of water in the store and their carpark was more like a lake than anything else (it's the one across the road from WOW Sight & Sound if you're wondering). Speaking of WOW, they were getting staff and such out and there were big plasma-screen TVs and DVD recorders just floating away down the street, along with more than a few cars.

Thankfully, my place is in one of the higher areas of town, those photos show about as high as it got, maybe a centimetre or so beyond that but not much. No way into town though; the street was more like a river and where it met Ruthven St had to be a foot or so deep. Had to go into town to see someone but I just turned around at the first chance I got and emailed them to say that there was no way I could get into town to see them. At least the dams are full now and we won't have to worry about water restrictions.

Hope the Lockyer Valley's alright; apparently they got hit with a seven-metre wall of water.

Jeeze .....
Best wishes guys ........ :(

Oh, turns out I was mistaken. Last I heard only two Toowoomba residents have died, that eight people I heard about must be for the region as a whole.

Been raining steadily most of today, but no-where near as bad as yesterday.
