Things that piss you off?

Would it be considered inhumane if I put a mouse trap on top of the trash can? I'm pretty sure I'd only have to do it once.

So, ummmmm, if it's not, where can I take my undersized weenie and get someone to join my girlfriend and me in a surprise three-way?
Weenie Hut Jr's?

WPMO is that, after finally getting my marriage back on track, it looks like the military will be sending my husband on a one year remote to Korea (unaccompanied). *sighs*

Civic Associations.....

I bought this house, get permission from the county to build a fence, review all the Deed Restrictions, cover the measurements with the President of the Association and get his approval, and now that I am finally getting the fencing put in (after 3 months of the paperwork crap), some idiot from the Civic Association goes to the county telling them that we are not following the Deed Restrictions, and now we have to go through all the paperwork AGAIN with the county because some asshole got a hair up their ass!

For some reason, I feel like you've posted this same sentence before. Hopefully things are OK.
I'm repetitively redundant, aren't I?

Wow, that's really unfortunate.

I wish you both well. :rose:

*smiles* thank you. We'll get through it, it's just at a damned inopportune time. Ah well, at least it's not the desert. *sighs*

I'll start this off with one of my petty little pet peeves from Lit. It drives me nuts when people start a thread and don't even take the time to verify if they spelled all the words in the thread title correctly. A corollary to this is when someone uses the wrong word in a thread title (example: "Chicagoland Role Call").

After all, this is a bulletin board that is dedicated, in part, to the celebration of erotica - that is to say, to good writing. Sheesh.

Not petty at all! Is spelling that hard?

Wow, you've been rummaging around in the attic of this thread, haven't you?

Unfortunately, for some people spelling is either too hard or too troublesome. Or perhaps the effort of proofreading is too far beneath them.

It just jumped out at me and I went no further LOL

Not that I've never misspelled anything....I just think if you're old enough to post here you should know the difference between here and hear .

Punctuation is also too hard.

Either that, or the majority of the people using the internet are getting dumber?
Nah, they were dumb in the first place.
