i had to deal with fucking static and clicking on my phone line AGAIN this morning. my call to verizon didn't go well... i'm sick of dealing with this.... 4th time in 3 years. it's getting old already.
the guy told me they could have someone here on tuesday. when i confronted him with my dissatisfaction he said (and this is no lie) that i was lucky to have someone coming that soon... that they have a lot of problems and lots of people have to wait much longer... and he didn't say so in a consoling tone.
i asked the guy this: if you have so many repair issues and such a long wait for service, wouldn't you think that you guys should reconsider the quality of your infrastructure and/or depth of your repair crew? to that (which was a rhetorical question) he said he wasn't paid to give opinions.
for one reason or another, it's working now but i think i see comcast in my future. i don't like comcast cable one bit but it can't be any WORSE and at least i'd have unlimited long distance and highspeed internet.
