Things that piss you off?

i'm fucking sick and god damned tired of weight loss threads. it's not that fucking difficult people. if you have no medical condition and you're overweight it's because you eat too much and/or don't move enough. anything more complicated than that and you're fucking annoying your own self out of doing something about it.

and while we're at it, why does the government make unhealthy food so god damned affordable?!?!?! if friggin' high fructose corn syrup cost as much as cocaine, maybe people would eat fewer little debbies and more romaine lettuce.

Maybe the problem is that so many cool junk foods have women's names - and are thus so damned tempting to eat?

my blogging site implemented a maximum comments limitation. without any apparent notice.

i regularly reel off a stupidly large number of comments. it's not even noon and i've run through my daily allotment.

[twitches very, very heavily]

Right now their servers are running like old Apple IIe boxes, too.

What really PISSES me off.......
When a guy that I was in love with - who had asked me to marry him and all of that crap..... doesn't even bother to call and update me on a family crisis..... when he had emailed me last night and said that he would CALL me "mid morning" today. Hmmmmm..... it is noon. mid morning passed a long time ago.... (yes - he had used me to "talk" about the crisis before yesterday)

I guess this boils down to - I hate people that lie and that use other people.....

Or maybe if romaine lettuce tasted like Little Debbies. . .

*edit: The weight-loss thread that I think you're referring to is less of a weight-loss thread than it is a futile attempt to get another person to stop posting on the GB. :)

ummm...just how many comments do you think you posted before noon today?

SW: and whatever are you doing with yourself if you cannot comment.

[peers]

I see the twitching has yet to subside.

hey...you are commenting again. so maybe it's a temporary limit thing...like so many comments in an hour.

if you look at your bra, there's a care label identifying the fiber content, etc. incidentally, this is true for any piece of clothing for sale in most countries. anyway, that strip should have a separate section identifying its composition. if it's elastic of some form, that's obviously the issue right there: the material just doesn't breathe properly.

ed

btw, in reference to this; there was no separate section identifying the materials composition of that strip. i have no idea what materials that is made of; they simply list the materials of the "cups and wings".

[shrugs]

it certainly doesn't look like elastic, btw. honestly if you look at it, it looks like an even thin strip of rubber cement--minus the stickieness of course.

it may be the weather...we will see.

peculiar...it should be some form of elastic.

hold on: is this the bra that's mostly single-piece, seamless construction? of so, i know that garment: i was just looking at one this morning.

Everytime I click on Silver's song thread I get the first page, I don't know if I'm doing it without realising it or what, but five fucking times.

[giggles]

It's good that the itching has subdued. Welts, on the other hand, are sexy as hell.

[grins]

Indeed they can be, if applied by the appropriate hand

I love my grandma to pieces, but geez. . .

Since my grandma doesn't travel well anymore, last night we loaded up the kiddies and went to her house to celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday. My mother commented that after my birthday next month, we wouldn't have any family birthdays to celebrate until December.

My six-year-old said, "But Grandma, Daddy's birthday is after Mommy's." My ex is her dad, and his birthday is a few days after mine.

My grandmother replied, "No, your daddy's birthday was in June." My husband's birthday was in June.

My little gal said, "No, I'm talking about my REAL daddy, not my stepdaddy. Daddy's birthday is after Mommy's."

My grandma then said, "I don't know who your daddy is."

My husband and I don't say negative things about my ex in the kids' presence, and we've made it more than clear that we expect the rest of the family to do the same. Regardless of what my family thinks of him, he's still the father of my oldest children, and he's still a part of their lives (though not as much as he should be, but that's his loss).

My grandma apparently "forgot" our rule and thought she wouldn't get called on it.

i can't remember if we've already discussed this, but are you familiar w/ tiger balm?

the mrs periodically also experiences back pain and this stuff works very well for her. the odor is pretty strong, but it stings a little to put it on your fingers to apply.
