Things that piss you off?

Hmmm. Guys that wanna change their persona just so they can get some! Why change your persona when you can just... be yourself?

And have you ever thought that some people have a learning disability (dyslexia for instance) and really have problems with the things you've described?

It's not that they're stupid. Their brains just don't work like yours and mine. I know, because Gil is dyslexic. No one picked up on it until I met him in 2004. I've worked with children who have it. Please try to be a bit more tolerant!

Sorry, the examples I see are NOT from any form of dyslexia or other learning disability problems. And the last time I checked, it was still an option to voice one's opinion, so please try to be a bit more tolerant of that yourself.

Spelling and Students with Learning Disabilities
By: Louise Spear-Swerling (2005)

Students with learning disabilities in reading usually have problems in spelling as well. Spelling can be especially difficult for these students, for several reasons. First, the core deficit in reading disability (RD) typically involves word decoding, and many of the same weaknesses that impact word decoding in individuals with RD---such as poor phonemic awareness or poor knowledge of letter-sound relationships---also influence spelling. Furthermore, spelling is affected by independent reading and exposure to text; avid readers see more words in print and have more opportunities to learn spellings of specific words. Because individuals with RD are rarely avid readers, lack of exposure to printed words may adversely influence their spelling. Finally, English spelling is complex, drawing upon several different kinds of knowledge. Effective teaching of this knowledge is especially crucial for students with RD.

There are many online articles about learning disabilities......this being only one.

Dysgraphia - What is Dysgraphia?

Dysgraphia is a learning disability that affects writing abilities. It can manifest itself as difficulties with spelling, poor handwriting and trouble putting thoughts on paper. Because writing requires a complex set of motor and information processing skills, saying a student has dysgraphia is not sufficient. A student with disorders in written expression will benefit from specific accommodations in the learning environment, as well as additional practice learning the skills required to be an accomplished writer.

I wonder if it's because they don't really like themselves. Of course 40 years ago I didn't realize that. It pissed me off then and it still does!

Perhaps some of them realize a change is needed and use getting some as a motivation. Who knows.

People who don't bother to ask questions and get all the facts before flipping out and jumping into someone else's business. And people who are rude with absolutely no provocation. (These pertain to 2 separate situations).

My stupid, very painful knee that needed surgery and is making it very difficult to do simple things for myself.

carpool lane

people who get in the carpool lane when the freeway is totally open, and then proceed to go slower than the regular lanes

The thing that pisses me off the absolute most.
Seeing kids say "i love you".
Most adults shouldnt even say those 3 special words till they know 100% that they mean it.
I'm just tired of seeing it just thrown all over the place with no real meaning behind it.
It has a very strong meaning behind it and it should be respected. Not just used to get what you want.

So by this your saying no one should say I love you because we have all used it with ppl that we loved that went wrong.

Kids version of I love you is more like saying I loke you a lot & you make me feel safe & happy, I have no problem with the I LOVE YOU by anyone because as I said with kids LOVE is a totally different context then the adult one.

I'm not being critical just offering a different view.

Oh the knees, I've had 2 ops on each knee but still needed replacement kneesbut was told to young !!!!!!! now I can have the op because I'm on blood thinners & other health problems that means my poor knees are just going to get better.

Good thing with my knees is I know the day before if it will rain. :D

Feeling altogether lousy:
  1. This damn partial the dentist had made for me has abraded the side of my tongue again, and the abrasion hadn't gone away from last time. He keeps trying to grind away at it to make it more comfortable, but it's not his tongue that has to put up with it.
  2. Chewing still hurts. I never thought I'd be the kind of person who lets their cereal got soggy before eating it.
  3. Stuffy sinuses and a chest-wracking, throat-tearing cough.

I guess i see your point. I was raised with the conviction of "dont say it unless you know 100% in your heart that you mean it" I never said it untill i got with my ex fiance.
A lot of people out there think love is lust / infatuation type thing. If you truely loved someone, you wouldnt beat them, disrespect them in any way-so on and so forth.
One of my best friends - got with a guy in October....Engaged by Christmas, pregnant by New Years. I dont really agree with the way they are going about it, if you loved someone you would hold off to make sure 100% that you did. See my point? I guess i'm bad at wording what i'm meaning lol
I just dont like seein the word thrown out there.
