Waking up too early has been a theme with me lately. Before Thursday, I had no idea why. Since Thursday, I have an excuse. Long story short, I crunched my left thumb at work. The good news is nothing was broken, which surprised the ER doctor. The bad news is my thumb split open and required eighteen stitches. The worse news is it’s my left thumb and I’m left handed.

So I’ve been waking up in pain. First COVID-19, then walking pneumonia, now this. 2020 is trying to kill me.

But that’s not why you’re here. You’re here for Just the Tip Tuesday. Fortunately, I had a few of these already taken. So here’s a tip peaking out from under a shirt.

These could be a pre-Friday tease, or me showing more vulnerability. I’ve been intentionally hiding my left hand since my injury, which was exactly a week ago today. So my thumb is now visible in all it’s bandaged glory. I’m not showing the injury itself because it’s not pleasant to look at.
